Comfortable and padded sole but I like the version I bought a few years ago better as it had toe grips and better arch. I was disappointed that these didn't have this.

Pretty colors (flowers) 4 stars because its a filpflop, the base is on the ok side for material's the rubber part, i dont think they will last but for today they work, for me they are used just to throw a fast pair on quickly ....they are fine they work but no cigar

There is a bit of an arch in it that isn't quite right for my foot. Otherwise the fit is good and they are fairly comfortable better than others I've tried in the past. For me they are keepers!

I wasn't sure I'd get used to these flip-flops, as the toe strap really chafed for the first week I wore them, even breaking skin. But I gave them a chance since I hadn't worn flip-flops for many months, and sure enough, I just needed to get my delicate tootsies used to a toe strap again. After the second week, these felt like a second skin, and I wear them constantly around the house now. Love the green color and dragonflies since I love nature and do a lot of gardening. The only negative other than the time it took me to get used to them was that the machining around the black sole is quite jagged, as my photo shows, which is why I had to deduct a star from my review.

Seems like the soles could be cut with a smoother edge, since these are $35 flip-flops, not $15 ones. But I do like them a lot and would buy them again.

I purchased the flip flops with the blue background with suns. It was suggested if you were a half size to size down which I did from my usual 6 and 1/2 to 6. They fit but just barely so I think I would order a 7 instead. They are comfortable and appear well made, although I think they were expensive for flip-flops.

I have had three pairs of the original version over the years. They were my favorite flip flops. This version is shorter and narrower in the same size. The original's size also varied over the years; at its largest version it was a full size larger than now. I have a size 9 from before, and they are significantly longer and wider than the size 9 I purchased now. Those previous ones were a bit oversized for my foot, these barely fit. If they were a half size bigger and a tad wider, I would have no issues. The sole is different too. Different pattern, but appears made of harder/sturdier material. My previous pairs would wear out in the sole first, so this may be a good update.

Didnt realize they wete brown. Picture was darker then when i saw them in person. Love the look though.

I bought these thong sandals to replace an older version of the same. Unfortunately, the new version does not have a contoured footbed, as the older ones did. Also, they feel less cushiony. However, they do have the nylon fabric thong, which I find much more comfortable than flip flops with molded plastic thongs. So 4 stars.

The toe thingy is too rough. The ribbon needs to be softer!it is very unforgiving

I have purchased LL Bean's flip flops multiple times in the past, and have always purchased a size 10 (I wear a 9 1/2 regular shoe). This time, I feel like my heels are falling off the back and the sides of my feet are over the side edges of the shoe. I like the pattern, but I would suggest anyone purchasing these to buy a size up.

I've been purchasing a new par of Maine Isle flip-flops every 2-4 years for ages now, whenever I wear my old ones out. They're always incredibly stiff to the point of being painful when they're brand new, but after wearing them a few times they become my live-in warm weather shoes until they get too beat up and I buy a replacement.

Cute, just wish the sole conformed to my feet better. But, they are still comfortable.

I think the pattern is adorable and the bottom of the flip flops is comfortable. The reason is selected 4 vs 5 are two things. Being whole sizes only I felt the shoe ran a little small & the part goes between the toes rub my toes raw until they were broken in. So there should be a little satin that goes around that versus what it's is today.

Bought this as a gift. Still loving the flip flops, but the black sole tends to rub off onto the sole of the foot! Wish LLBean would fix this issue. Other than that, this would be a definite go to summer sandle!

I bought the dragonfly motif flip-flop for my sister. She loved them! The only thing she commented on was that she had to readjust the ribbon that goes between your big toe and it's neighbor because on one of the shoes, the ribbon was situated in a way to cause rubbing on her toe. She also mentioned that the sole itself was not as cushioned as she would have expected, but still she liked them enough to keep and wear them.

I've received complements on these comfortable flip flops. Not quite as soft as my old ones but the best I have found recently.

Please don't discontinue these flip flops! They have been my favorites for many years. The webbing on them made them a little snug but after wearing them for a little bit they are a perfect fit. Love the fun designs. Don't get rid of different dog and animal designs and the flowers. Ordered 1 pair of the dog ones in Spring and decided I needed a second pair in different color (blue crabs) before they were sold out. It's disappointing that you sell out of size 8 so quickly. People want to buy flips during the entire year especially if you're going on holiday during the winter.

This was the first time I purchased these flip flops. I usually wear a 9W, but found this width was ok. Due to the thickness of the fabric between the toes it took several weeks to break them in. The fabric itself caused pain and redness between my toes. If you have sensitive skin like I do, it does take some time to break them in. I gave them a 4 star because of the redness I experienced.
