Nice looking. Easy to slip on and slip off. Big issue with the rigid spin on the back above the tension knob. By the 4th I had the back of my ankle rubbed raw.
A few rounds later tried them again. Did not tighten them as much as would have like but I had skin on the back of my ankle.

Thought these would be a great athletic shoe to use frequently both riding and walking. I really liked the look of them and initially they felt great. Note, I had to get a full 1.5 sized smaller than normal (8 instead of 9.5) for them to not slip off my ankle when stepping.
Despite being an athletic looking shoe, the heel rubs and my foot slid off the sole regularly which lead to quite a painful experience. I walked last week (having worn them 10+ times) and after 9 holes I finally took them off and played a few more holes barefoot before just giving up on the round (feet were very cold without any shoes!)
I'm surprised that Footjoy would 1.) have the sizing so off and 2.) market this shoe so much despite it's issues. I'll definitely be wearing Footjoy in the future, but likely stay away from this style of shoe.

Bought these shoes for the promised comfort from its insole. This is the most uncomfortable golf shoe I have ever worn. Wore them approximately 15 walking rounds. Got a blister on my 4th toe first time I wore them. Still irritates that toe. The problem is the spike underneath that toe. Tried taking out the spike. No difference. The hard sole itself is the problem. Has terrible lateral stability walking on side hills. Probably should not have bought a gym shoe style.

It took me 3 times to get the size right because of how big they run. I usually wear an 11.5 EE and eventually wound up on a 10.5 EE, However the right shoe was still way bigger than the left shoe.
Durability was another issue. I use them about once a week and they seem to have already more or less gone flat, and the stitching is coming out from around the ankle area. Maybe this was a reason they felt stretched out.
Overall, would definitely not recommend them and would definitely not consider purchasing again. This has also made me consider looking outside of foot joy for golf shoes.

I ended up returning this shoes after trying two different sizes. They just didn't fit my feet right. I'm not sure whether to chalk that up to my feet shape or the actual design of the shoe. These shoes didn't seems to have the "hugging" effect on my foot that many claimed they had. My heel would slide around in them unless I went about 3 sizes smaller than my normal size and that ended up being uncomfortably tight. I really wanted these to work out but they just didn't ever fit my feet right. Try these on in person. They will most likely not fit true to size.

The flexible portion of the shoe at the ankle that makes this shoe more similar to a cross trainer type shoe is too high and digs into your ankle particularly at the loop on the back of the shoe. You have to wear extremely high socks in order to avoid the situation. The problem does not go away after breaking in the shoes. You will be in flip flops for weeks nursing your bloody ankles if you buy these.

I'm sure this will be viewed as my fault but...its why I hate buying clothing on-line. They are a half size too large and feel sloppy. I tried on a pair at the store which fit snug and so I thought trying a half size larger would do the trick. Well, if the store had a half size larger, I wouldn't have ordered these shoes on-line, right?
The over the arch tightening support seems to loosen up a little too much for my liking and seems to need periodic adjustment.

Impossible to put on easily because of the knit potion of the upper body. Sole is thin, which makes them uncomfortable walking on firm surfaces

ONLY reason I give it 2-stars is because of the size issues. I read a ton of reviews beforehand about size problems. I was hoping to try these on in a store nearby before ordering online, but couldn't find any in my area. I ordered a whole size less than my normal sneaker and they were still too big. Ended up ordering another 1/2 size smaller. DEFINITELY order smaller. Ended up overnighting the next pair so I had them for vacation.

I feel they will Flex my ankle in to a serious sprain. They are comfortable, but I don't need to compromise what a shoe is supposed to do for it.

A Bit too soft on the sole. Need a firm feel, this is a mushy feel.

Overall style of the shoe is great but I can't get the shoe tight enough around to prevent my foot from sliding around in the toe box. I might try the lace version of the shoe in a narrower version.

Shoe sole is very comfortable. The cuff around the ankle is abrasive and sits above all of my low socks. Got a blister on the back of my ankle after 5 holes. Poor design.

I played yesterday in a bit of rain, but my socks were soaked by 16. Not too happy with the price I paid for these. Never had issues with other "waterproof" golf shoes while playing in the rain.

I have always bought footjoy golf shoes. The last pair were the fury as I prefer the 'trainer' type shoe. Sadly they were discontinued so went for these ones. They are ok but don't seem as robust as the fury's, so wonder how long they will last. Also there is not as much ankle padding. The laces are difficult to tighten properly. So I shall wear them for this season and unless anything changes, I would not buy them again.

I love the fit and the flex idea of this shoe. They're extremely comfortable; however, when playing my first round of golf in them I found there to be A LOT of movement of my foot in the shoe. I try to use the ground to create power as much as possible and this shoe took some of that away. They're certainly good looking and comfortable but I like my shoes to feel locked on my foot. Now let it be noted: I'm not a scratch golfer my any means but I am a little bigger (6'4 240 lbs) and generate some solid power and this shoe wasn't for me.

The shoes run a full size smaller than the typical shoes that I would wear. Use the provided measurement chart prior to ordering online and order appropriately.
The shoe itself is extremely comfortable and provides great stability and traction while playing, in multiple kinds of lies.
However, the comfort ends with the pull tab on the back of the shoe. I wore typical running socks that would sit below the cuff of the shoe. This caused this strap to rub and blister the back of both of my heels. It broke skin on both feet and was so painful I had to end my round after 6 holes. The shoes look good, but will require you to wear high ankle socks at a minimum which defeats the purpose of the stylish look of the shoe. Extremely disappointed with this performance at this price point.

I will not buy this BOA golf shoe due to the fact that the BOA lace system gets stuck closed. I wore these shoes only 2 times and both time the left shoe would not release the lace. I sent the first pair back and got them back a month later and then played a tournament last week and the some thing happen again. Not a happy golfer.

Shoes were a big disappointment. They were supposed to be a narrow shoe and they were not. I could not use them for golfing because they would not stay on. Fortunately Footjoy does a great job on returns and we had no problem getting a credit for my return.

For my foot shape (4e, high arches with thick foot volume) it isn't a good fit. Wore them for a round with a cart and it seemed ok, but they run a bit long. I walked 18 and developed a large callous and heel blister. But, my feet aren't slipping on any swings so I'd say the traction is very good, just not a good fit for me.

I wear a 12 in most shoes and read about these running large. I didn't use the size chart and blindly ordered an 11 which was still too big. I could definitely go down to a 10.5 and maybe a 10.
The boa system works well. The main problem with the shoe is the finger loop at the back. It rubs against the back of my ankle to the point where it will break the skin after walking 9 holes unless I wear socks that extend above the shoe. Unacceptable for the price.

I wear nothing but Foot Joys and have for years. I always wear a 10 1/2 wide so I ordered that size this time. The BOA system does not seem to tighten down correctly. It causes the side of the shoe to crease and to tell you the truth they aren't very comfortable. I am hoping that they get a little better, I've only played two rounds in them, but I am not holding a lot of hope for it. It seems to me that you would have to buy this shoe a half a size small or if you wear a wide fit in a normal fit for the BOA system to actually work correctly. I am disappointed in this purchase but it won't keep me from buying Foot Joy again, I guess I'll just stay with your standard lace up styles.

I tried them on and they are beyond comfortable. The BOA system is unique and streamlined. However, the loop at the back rubs up against the back of my leg/achilles area. I found this part really annoying and distracting. I have since returned them.
