The upper material used in this shoe is Cordura and unlike some other recent adidas shoes does not suffer from the dual layer folding problem where a crease forms in two layer with the inner layer folding uncomfortably into your foot. Another benefit of this material choice is it's toughness. Everyday scuffs and scratches don't leave a mark. This is a superior Adidas shoe and possibly their best Stan Smith since they decided to drop the use of leather.
