These shoes have nice cushioning under the front of the foot, which is hard to find. They run a little long so don’t size up. I am wearing them for aerobics and I am really happy with them.

The tongue is sewn to the shoe. I would have to use a shoehorn to get them on. Returned them. Very cute style, however.

Loved the look of these sneakers and the color palette when I ordered. BUT: the applied design on the sides seriously looks like laminated paper stickers, and I question how that design element would last. Also, the material around the edge of the toes is puckered both when in the box and when on my feet -- not a good look. I wish they were as sharp as they appeared in photos, and of the quality I expect from Ryka.

I was looking for shoes for Body Pump and studio workouts. I also need wide sizing and I prefer something cute! ? These are my first Ryka’s and so far, I’m impressed! They have a lot of structure and feel very stabilizing, yet they are flexible for things like lunges and lightweight. Plus, they make my feet look tiny and cute. If you are on the fence, I’d say give these a go!

I bought this shoe in a size 9 last June - they ran large, but I put insoles in and made it work. So when I reordered, I went down half a size but the 8.5 is significantly smaller. I really like them for Jazzercise so I will go back to the 9 and send the 8.5 back. If you are ordering now and between sizes, go up.

Ryka Daring shoes fit very well with Excellent support in the arch and cushioning in the ball of the foot. The sizing is very consistent.

I am typically a size 6 M and these cross trainers fit very true to size with excellent arch support and cushioning for the heel and ball of the fit. I teach about 12 exercise classes a week so having a great fitting shoe with lots of support is very important.

Like others, I was not aware before ordering that the tongue was sewn into the shoe; or, as I think of it, the shoe has an inner cuff sewn onto it. My first reaction was that I did not like it because it was hard to get on; then I remembered that one of the things that often bugs me about sneakers is when the tongue slips to one side: this shoe is not going to have that problem. I use sneakers primarily for long distance walking and I think I will appreciate the stability of this shoe. However, as others have said, the materials have a cheap feel to them. I felt that the pros and cons balanced each other out at this price. I did not feel that the shoe runs large; I ordered my regular size (8.5 D) and there was no extra room in them.

Super cute shoes. I’ve ordered Ryka before and LOVE them. My last pair was a 7.5 wide and was a bit bigger so I ordered these in a 7 wide. The tongue of this show is sewn in and I couldn’t even fit my foot in the shoe. I can’t speak if the shoe is comfortable or true to size/width. Had to return.

I couldn't even pull these shoes onto my foot. I have a high instep, but the wide width was countermanded by the strip of fabric sewn across the top (that I couldn't see in the photographs). So, I have no idea about the arch support..... This was so annoying because they looked great and the heel level was in line with what my personal trainer recommended. Found better shoes at half the price.
