Beautiful boot, well made, lovely neutral color for fall/winter, good arch support, removable orthotics if you need to insert customs. Unfortunately the front was too narrow for my bunioned feet, and the heel was already very loose, so going up a half size would not have helped. Will be returning. If you have normal or narrow width, worth checking out! I did not find the leather to be too stiff, as some other reviewers have commented.

Leather is nice but they would show scuff or normal dirt too easily. They need breaking in real bad, very stiff. Toe box is comfortably wide, but heel is too wide and loose, especially the left shoe. Returning.

This is a beautiful boot with a lot of room. I wanted to wear thick socks, so I ordered 12 instead of 11, which is my professionally measured size. Even with socks, the 12 was huge. I was pleased that the toe box had plenty of room, but definitely need an 11, so I returned the 12.

This is a beautiful short boot. I purchased the Smoke color and love that the leather looks "natural" like my Frye boots. The more I wear them the better they look. The arch support is good, I have been wearing with thinner socks and the boots are stretching out a little which I like. Great boot for the price. I am happy with my purchase and am definitely keeping these lovely boots.

The heel on these boots felt loose. The width for the rest of the foot was good, especially with a pair of socks, but the heel is still a bit wide. However, you get used to it, and with socks, does okay.

I really love the style and color of the boot. The fit was nice in the toe box area, wide enough but not sloppy. There was arch support which I really appreciate with my super high arches. The trouble starts in the back end of the boot. There was a lot of room/play from the bridge of my foot back. It felt like walking in flip-flops. My feet are considered "normal" width (B) but there was just too much play for them to be comfortable for a lot of walking. This is my first boots in this style so maybe they are all like that but I am going to return these.

I received this shoes two weeks ago and they felt really stiff, narrow and uncomfortable when I tried them on. Tried to return them and Zappos says they’re still in transit as if I haven’t received them yet. Spoke to their customer service and they said they would have UPS send me a return label and I never received it. This is my first bad experience with Zappos. I really need to return this shoes because they’re really expensive and didn’t fit.
