immediately when trying on was a nope they're ugly as all get out and the steel toe cuts so deep in my foot I can't even wear the shoe to try it on without being super uncomfortable!

I was pleasantly surprised by the comfort in this shoe. I didn't know what to expect from a safety toe shoe from Keen but I am able to spend more time on my feet. The aluminum is a little snug around the back of the toe, but this hasn't caused any discomfort.

These shoes let my toes wiggle happily! It feels like there are already insoles inside! The shoe laces could be longer (just because of the way I decided to lace them). I work standing and walking at the airport and while my legs and back are still getting used to this, my feet are completely comfortable and happy. My foot is on the smaller side so the back really hugs my ankle and it would be awesome if they were made so I could just pop them on without having to untie the laces. That would be a dream!

Shoes arrived in good shape, have walked my miles in them. I think I bought them 7 months ago and after 5 months they started splitting across the top and I dont get down on my knees very often because Im older.

These would be 4 stars if the shoes weren't wonky. The left shoe fits great. The right shoe is off. It feels like I am stepping on the side of the shoe slightly rather than dead center of the insole. I am constantly trying to readjust my right foot within the shoe. I can tell by comparing the two shoes that they are not symmetrical to each other. This appears to be a quality control issue. I would not buy these again, but it's not so bad that I'll return them either...... Aside from that issue, they are wide enough for my feet (I got the wide version), not too heavy, and have a good amount of cushion on the heel. I do wish they had better arch support too

I hope they never get rid of these shoes. I have had 3 foot surgeries and have a hard time. Finding anything for work, they seemed to help a lot. I'm going to try the sparta 2 for just around home. I just wish the sparta 2 came in more colors, than black. :(

Most comfortable safety shoes I have tried so far. I wish I had found these first. There was no break-in period required. These are so light and do not hurt my toes like the others I have tried. I also have the other Keen carbon fiber toe shoes (Flint II) and those are heavier and affect my toes.
My only wish is that there was more cushion for the sole of the foot, but I think a different insert might help this.

I really like the shoes, they are light on my feet, they work well with being on cement for sometimes 8 to12hrs a day. I have a wide foot they fit well,but I think the front of the shoe could be alittle wider.

I’m currently trying different inserts, even at 6 hrs my feet are aching and I have blisters on my big toe and small toe. I normally wear a a size 7 but got a 7 1/2 after reading reviews.
I love the way it looks and it feels good the first few hours. It’s a sturdy shoe, comfortable fit with the exception of the insert it comes with. If they had more cushion they would be perfect . I do need to say that I’m not used to being on my feet in a warehouse for prolong periods of time. I’m also on the heavy side. The first pair I got we’re high top safety shoes. Unfortunately they were too heavy and gave me blisters to. I sent them back and got these. They’re much lighter, at first they feel really good. It’s more than likely more me than the shoe itself.
I'd also recommend:
I have regular sketchers that are wonderful. But they are not safety shoes. The Keen shoes are nice
