These are great safety shoes out of the box. Insoles provide support and cushion. Sole is stiff but also flexible. Super lightweight with the aluminum toe so no risk of tiring your feet out wearing these. Feels very close to an athletic sneaker.

I had issues with previous work shoes hurting my toes, but these shoes never gave me those issues. They were sturdy, comfortable, and rugged enough to last over a year at a tough warehouse job before showing serious signs of wear.

Sparta 2 are my favorite Keen work shoes , they are not heavy and are an all day shoe since I work two jobs starting at 330p ending at 5am. They are true to size I wear a 12, I order wide to have the extra toe space I can usually get about 2 years out of the Sparta 2. I will always look for this safety shoe as my first choice, quite a few of my co workers also wear the Sparta 2. Great shoe great fit.

Im in my first few weeks with these shoes. I have worn them nearly every day. They are a little stiff in the first few wears but the break-in time was only a few days. Ventilation is great. They are not overly squeaky or clunky. The insoles are great. The laces and pull tab on the heel feel strong but they are not stiff and rigid. Im liking them so far. I hope to get several good years out of them.

I received 3 compliments on my shoes. 2 from employees and 1 from my next door neighbor. They thought they were tennis shoes. When I told them they are safety from Zappos. They were all shocked.
