Customer Reviews Topo Athletic Fli-Lyte 4

Way too much arch support. It feels like there's a bunched up sock in my shoe. My arch actually feels bruised and I cannot wear these at all anymore. Was such a big fan of the Fli-Lyte 3 that I decided to give these a chance and ignore the negative reviews. It was a bad decision.

I don't know how I didn't notice in the store, but the heel upper is pretty drastically angled towards the Achilles tendon. It's been rubbing and chaffing my Achilles badly just when walking. Pretty much an useable shoe for running for me for that reason alone. Otherwise, seems to be a great shoe. Wish I could return them. I loved my ultrafly 3, and perhaps was too overly confident when trying on these fly lite 4. I put 500 miles in 4 months on the ultrafly and wanted to reduce heel-toe offset further and stick with topo. The fly lite 4 could've been that shoe, but I think it suffers from a fatal design flaw. Disappointed.

I've always liked the Fli-lytes and was eager to see the new ones released. However, the limiting sizing options are frustrating. Especially half sizes for big foot people like me. When will there be sizes 12.5 and up?
