I usually wear an 8.5. Size 9 wide in tennis shoes. I purchased size 39 size 9 in these, which is the same size in all alegria shoes. I needed a closed toe shoe that was easy to put on and comfortable for the cooler weather. These fit perfectly and are really comfortable. I have achy feet and it is hard to find a supportive shoe that keeps my feet from hurting especially for long walking and shopping. I thought they were more stylish than the closed toe Birks and I would buy these in other colors.

Nice shoe. I wear a 37 in Allegria which is what was ordered - have several of their marvelous open-toed shoes & love them. I can wear, depending on the shoe style and the manufacturer (haven't we all faced this?) a 7, 7.5 or 8, all with medium width. The length though wasn't the prob - it was a bit wider than my other A's which made it difficult to stay happily on my foot. The shoe itself - ordered brown & black - is per ala Allegria, well made. I am pleased to see this style has a lower heel making the shoe not only easier to walk in, it sure makes it lighter.

These shoes felt terrific right out of the box. I have osteoarthritis in my knees and the wrong shoes can make them hurt even more. These were comfortable with enough support wearing them all day was a dream. The extremely fast service from Zappos shoes makes the wait very short. I have bought many pairs of shoes from zappos and have never been disappointed.

I was between buying an 8 1/2 and a 9 and it said to size up. I did, but probably didn't need to. Not big enough to return, but are a bit roomy. Very comfortable though!!

I love these! They’re super comfortable, fit my feet well, and are really pretty. They dress up jeans particularly well.

Loved the new style and excited to receive but unfortunately, they were not as comfortable as my Sevilles. I’m a nurse who USE to have Plantar Fasciitis before wearing Algerias. I had just been diagnosed with that problem and went on the hunt for appropriate shoes. I currently have 18 Algeria shoes for my hospital job. They would be good for everyday use but not for me and my type of work. I need better arch support.

These shoes are incredible! Comfort right out of the box, cute and flattering, roomy toe box, non-slip sole. I have difficult feet (bunion on one, botched bunionectomy on the other, big and wide overall. The shape of these shoes is flattering and minimizes my clown-feet in size. So Very Comfortable. I normally wear a 9 1/2, bought the EU 40 and it's perfect. The strap over the top of the arch is functional and adjusts for higher or lower arches (I had thought it was just decorative). I bought the blue suede and it's great with blue jeans; a quiet dusky blue. LOVE these shoes!

The shoes fit great and the arch is very supportive, I wear these around my house all the time!

I have mild bunions and wear 8 wide in Clarks, 8.5 wide in New Balance shoes, and 9 wide in Asics running shoes. I went with the 8-8.5 size in the green suede. They just fit length-wise with light weight ankle socks and felt good width-wise, but I’d rather not have to worry about falling out the back of clogs into the snow if I can help it. Just ordered the 9, so I should be good to go with those!

Like walking on air. The fit is incredible, feels like I am wearing slippers. True to size, a little generous on the width.....I usually order wide but the medium width was ample with these. The construction is amazing, they will last forever. The stitching adds a nice detail.

I’ve been trying shoe styles I probably never would have chosen had it not been for arch and instep pain. These shoes are very comfortable and look great with jeans, yoga pants etc. The shoes are very well made and the soles, although they look slippery, are not slippery. I purchased Cinder which i thought would be gray but really a slate blue shade - love the color.

The shoes are cute, but they felt tighter than my other Allegria shoes. Also, the soles were very slippery when walking in them on carpeting. That's a no for me.

I had to return these... the sides offer no real structure and they are flopping along the side or under your feet

Disappointed. Shoe was too small in my normal size, and not very attractive.

Nice shoe and leather. Cuff around the back of the shoe kept flopping down and made it uncomfortable.

Cute shoe, nice suede, pretty red color. The wrap around cuff flops back under the foot. Not comfortable. Another very heavy shoe.

The fit was fine but I need more heel because I'm sort of a klutz sometimes. If there was structure to the heel, I'd keep them. Really comfortable thought.

I Thought was had the fur in it. Very uncomfortable without it.
