Blundstones have a sort of cult following, especially among outdoorsy-types. I am not that, but I do enjoy a comfortable boot that has easy on-off. I thought these would be good for an upcoming trip to Paris. The Pearl color and high-top style with cutouts around the sides gives them an upgrade so they're weather-ready but stylish. When I wore them to visit family recently, I received compliments, and my sister-in-law said she was going home to order a pair! Here's why only 4 stars: I can't get them to fit quite right. I first bought the AU 4.5 (US 7.5), since my shoe size is 7.5-8 and I have slim feet (heard Blundstones run wide). They fit, but my toes hit the front. I ordered the AU 5 (US 8), but those felt loose. Blundstone customer support suggested a hack: add a thin insole below the Blundstone insole to make the shoe more snug. She said not to keep the smaller pair, as their shoes never stretch lengthwise. I did as suggested, and it helped, but my heel still moves around when I walk. I've now tried adding arch-support insoles (since the boots don't have any to begin with), but these seem to throw off the balance of the shoe and make my heel sit too high. I tried adding two pairs of the thin insoles, but that made my toes too crowded. I still haven't found the Goldilocks solution. To sum up, these are the nicest looking Blundstones I've seen, and the Pearl color is versatile and stylish. The boots run wide and loose, though, and without laces, there's no adjusting them. If you have wide feet, these will probably fit great (although I've heard people have trouble taking them off - I didn't, though). If, like me, you have long, narrow feet, you may need to fiddle with them to get the fit just right.

Love these! Super comfortable and a nice casual style. My only comment is that they are hard to get off, as the shaft is snug. I expect the elastic to loosen up over time to make this issue go away. I always order a half size up in Blundstone.

Nice looking boot. Looks well made & high quality. I returned, as I could not get my foot into the small opening. My daughter has the lower topped boot & I love them. I may have worn them once to work (standing all day) & they were comfortable & my problem feet didn’t hurt at all, by the end of day.

I wear a 7.5 and have a narrow foot. I purchased a 4.5 and my toes just hit the front of the shoe, so I would not be able to add an insole or wear heavier socks unless I sized up to a 5. The opening is tight, which is a little concerning because I am looking for easy on/easy off, generally associated with Blundstone boots. The deal breaker was that I ordered the boots in "Antique Brown" and received "Black"? I'm sending them back but may try the 8 if available in brown.

Love the look of this boot & the quality & style is lovely, but I couldn’t get my foot very far into the opening. Such a disappointment. I may try a low top Blundstone as my daughter has a pair & loves them.

Beautiful and useful boots that unfortunately a bit too hire for me leg, a frequent problem of mine. I am sorry these did not work for me. I woud have worn them with everything.

Love the off white color, too wide and too floppy compared to the 550s I have in the same size. The 550s does have an alternative insert included that made them fit perfectly for me, and this pair did not. I'm sending them back to try a 9.5 bc I really want the style for dresses in the spring!

Well, as others have said, the are super, super hard to get on and off and the ankle is very narrow. And I have very skinny ankles. And once they are on they feel very stiff. I like the way they look but I will stick with the classic boots. Much, much more comfortable and easier to get on and off.
