The fit is excellent, even with thick wool socks. I also like that the soles are not slippery on hikes. I'm hoping that the waterproofing lasts longer than some other brands.

This was about the 7th pair of shoes I tried, looking for a black shoe to wear with pants. I have lost weight and old ones too big now but couldn’t get the size right. Finally these came and fit perfectly. Wore them for hours yesterday. They are solid and good support. With pants they look like a little boot. Perfect for the cooler months.

They just. give me too much wiggle room.

I liked these, but the color was a little off for my taste. I was looking for a darker brown, and found a pair elsewhere so am returning these. Otherwise I’d recommend d them for fit and looks.

Shoe was very narrow and possibly a whole size too small. The shoe was very nice looking and I will try a larger size whenever it is back in stock.

I can't rate for comfort because I couldn't even get them on my feet. I ordered a size 11 (largest available) but they were way smaller in length and width than I expected. I'm between sizes 11 and 12 so it's always a guessing game with a brand I haven't tried before (as these were). These 11s will go back. I also ordered another style in a size 12 in the same brand; they seemed similar so maybe like a worthy size comparison. But so far they're feeling too big and like a completely different footbed, to the point that I'm tempted to try a size 11 because even at too big, the difference from the other size 11s is so noticeable that the size-12-style-shoes shoes seem like they might be comfy if the size 11 in that style works... So frustrating that within brands and across seemingly similar styles there is such vast variation. Thank you, Zappos, for being so patient with all of us just trying to find a pair of shoes or two that fit.

It was too tight for my high instep.

Feels like a hard clog.

Very stiff footbed. I got a W, and it was quite narrow.

I could not get my foot in! needs bigger elastic gores.

I had high hopes for this shoe but it was a bust. First, it needs tabs on the back because it was impossible to pull on. However, after a month or so it loosened up so much my foot was wobbling inside. I have never had that happen before. It became too loose and I had to give them away.
