These shoes are very cute, but after wearing for awhile I realized they are not what I'd hoped. I wear a 10 N and these fit more like a 10 M, even after adding 2 pairs of thick insoles. Also, even though they are a summer fisherman style shoe, they are quite uncomfortable to wear without socks. I quickly developed heal and toe blisters when wearing them barefoot. I really regret buying these!

Very disappointed. Ordered this shoe because I could not find the Aravon Fisherman sandal in 8.5. I am returning them because strap that fastens to the velcro strap is not long enough to acccommodate my slightly larger right foot. The strap is too short. Would not recommend for those who have had a past broken ankle or other ankle injury. Shoe was a bit stiff and not enough arch support for my moderately high arch. It is attractive for a comfort shoe, but the ankle strap is a big issue for me as I could not pull it tight enough to stick to the velcro. I am returning.

I ordered these hoping they would work for a trip to Scotland this summer, and when I put them on they seemed comfortable enough. The straps were a little scratchy and stiff so I walked around for a bit testing them out. After fewer than 100 steps, the skin on the back of my ankles was already chafed and my pinky toe was sore from rubbing against the inside. I'm sending them back.

Aravon is usually my go-to brand, so I was very disappointed in this shoe. The strap is so short, you can't securely fasten the shoe. I have to return it.

I was looking for a closed toe casual sandal/shoe. Really like this style but found it rubbed in several places that eventually would become a blister. I continue to wear them around the house to try to get accustomed to them but so far they are not comfortable. They rub the heels and on the sides in the toe area. Also, I have narrow feet and the velcro strap just barely fits around my foot to fasten.

Couldn't get my left foot into the shoe. too narrow. Have to return it. I wear a 7.5 ww. shoes are getting too expensive on Zappo.

Just received these and am returning due to how extremely wide they fit. This would have been my fourth pair of Aravons and I have always been happy with a 9N. In this shipment, I received a pair of Wembly Mary Janes as well as these. They seemed to fit wider than a medium, causing me to check the box and shoe tags to make sure I had not received the wrong size. Apparently not, so be aware of this disparity in width within the same brand and style.

The leather used in the uppers is very thin and gaps along the sides. I will return them because of poor quality.

Hi - The soles are really nice quality inside and out and very comfortable, however, the inside stitching on the left shoe felt scratchy against my pinky toe since I was wearing nylons when I tried them on. I bought a different Aravon model (the loafer with the blue tab on the back and diamond cut outs) and this shoe feels like a slipper so I will be keeping it. This shoe brand does run 1/2 size larger than normal. I usually take a 7W and ordered a 6 1/2 WW since sometimes a Wide shoe is not really that wide. I probably could have gone with a 6 1/2 W, but having the extra space gives you the option of adding another insole on top to preserve the original insole. I WANT TO THANK ZAPPOS FOR THEIR PATIENCE IN MULTIPLE RETURNS WHILE I TRY TO FIND A SHOE THAT IS COMFORTABLE. THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE HAS BEEN GREAT. THANK YOU!

cute style but too stiff. very uncomfortable.

Felt too wide and too long . Plus the heel top was cutting into my skin after a couples minutes. Cannot afford blisters.

I am so disappointed with these shoes. I have worn them three times: the first time the interior material gave the tops of my toes terrible blisters. So, the second time, I added moleskin to the "hotspots" - didn't help at all. The third time, I wore them with very comfy socks. They blistered the same spots through the socks. I cannot recommend these shoes and wish I had returned them, but they looked so comfy that I couldn't have possibly anticipated how painful they are!

I have 7 pairs of Aravon shoes, all 10 2E, and they have always fitted perfectly. This 10 2E was like putting on a big sloppy bedroom slipper. It was too long and way too wide. Granted, all my other Aravon were from New Balance. Rockport has purchased this shoe line and it looks like they have changed the last significantly. This pair is going back and I won't be ordering a smaller pair due to no arch support in the one I received.

These look plastic. They're really not very pretty up close.

Way too wide! I wear AA, so I checked the shoes to see if a mistake was made in packing my order, but no - they just are made too wide.

I wear a standard 6.5 W shoe. These were so oversized I found it difficult to even assess whether another size would work. They will soon be on their way back. Never ordered this brand before and now know it is not one I would consider in future.

I ordered an 8 W based on reviews I read - I fluctuate between 8-8.5 W. Could not even get my foot in the shoe. I’ll be returning these - I’m disappointed. I ordered another shoe at the same time in 8W - fit like a dream.
