I have been buying different shoes from their line and its seems nothing holds up that is not the Old Skool. The foam in the heel crushed within a month and started wearing blisters soon after. Dont waste your money! Buy a pair of old schools if you expect Vans to last more than 3 months

Absolutely love the look of the shoe. Super bummed that the fit is bad. Couldn't break them in. Painfully tight toe box. Half a size up didn't help.

Something wrong with the design of the front/toe box area. Extremely tight and uncomfortable. Love the look and wish they would fix the design.

First off, I love Vans. I wear them almost exclusively and have since I was 11 yo (30+ years). I HATED THESE SHOES! Upon receiving them, I instantly took them out of the box to try on, only to almost instantaneously take them off and immediately rebox them to send back to Vans. My verdict is that the Speckled Gum Ultrarange EXO MTE-1 shoes are Unwearable. They run extremely small and have almost zero cushion. I wouldn't exchange them to try another size because they were horrid. I still love Vans, just not these. From here on, I will stick to the classics!

I returned them immediately. The color difference between them was really bad. Looked like you were wearing 2 different shoes. Also the amount of glue used was ridiculous. You could see it all around. Not buying from there web again.

fit great, but when I tried to tie them the laces were different lengths on each shoe. I can barely tie one shoe because it's so short

I bought these shoes loving the color and design. The first pair I noticed when I got home and put them on I noticed the fronts were VERY DIFFERENT and not symmetrical at all. I returned them and had to order another pair off the internet since they did not have my size. I received the new pair and the same thing! The sides, front, and back were all so uneven I mean bad uneven. And the left shoe on the inside had a bulge of material on the top right where my foot meets my big toe. I really wanted to love these shoes but they are very uncomfortable and very poorly made in quality and consistency. I eventually returned them and bought a typical vans style skate shoe. Vans really dropped the ball on these hiking shoes. Stick to skate shoes.

I have worn Vans for the last 20+ years and I have never had a pair fall apart like these ones. Within the first week, I could see that the soles were starting to come unglued on both shoes. One month in and the sole on one shoe is almost peeled halfway off. I was hoping these "all weather shoes" would be more durable and they just aren't at all. Totally bummed about the quality of these shoes.

It looked okay in hand but attempting to put it revealed the flaws. I based the size on my Vans high tops and other brands of hiking shoes but the Ultrarange clearly would not fit. Very tight, quite stiff construction, and the gap for the tongue too wide. I considered whether the next size up would change the fit but couldn't see it being worth the effort.
