Shoe is nice, but not what I expected. I visioned the top of the shoe to be more pointed (like the picture). Still a nice shoe, just didn't meet my expectations.

The fit, size and support were fine. Got it on discount - well worth it for the price I paid. Only issue, is it wrinkled after very little usage. Wish they would have lasted longer than a few months. Despite regular maintenance, polishing, etc. only lasted about 6 months.
I'd also recommend:
Cole Haan, Johnston Murphy

Just got the shoes and haven't had a chance to put many miles on them yet, but disappointed by the fact that they are listed as fully leather lined when they are not. They have a man made insole and man made lining on the inside. Also, I have never in my life had to buy a wide shoe, but considering sending these back for a wide model or a different brand because they place a lot of pressure on the outside of my foot while leaving ample room in the toebox.

Nice looking shoe, but the narrowest EE I have ever tried. Had to return, and went with old standby Florsheim.

I bought this in the British Tan. It is a beautiful and comfortable shoe, but runs a bit narrow. I usually wear a Medium; in this style the Wide was perfect.

This is a good looking shoe, but have 2 major issues with them. First, the heel is higher than most. I have traditionally worn Johnston Murphy shoes and find these heels to be higher and awkward. Second, my right show has developed a squeak. Every time I step it squeaks. It is very annoying. A previous review mentioned this, but I disregarded it, and perhaps should not have.

Even though it's labelled as wide, shoe was too tight across ball of feet. In contrast, in a Johnston and Murphy shoe, I wear a regular, not a wide, and they're fine.

I’ve been buying Cole Haan for many many years.... I have to say, while the upper leather is still top notch quality, I don’t know how I feel about this ultra shiny rubber material they’re using for the soles. The verdict is still out. But from the looks of it, I’m getting better quality from a pair of Clark’s I just bought for 1/2 the price.

A beautiful shoe but tough to break in. They don't have the cotton lining inside the shoe at the bottom of the tongue and around your toes, making it very unformfortable to wear the shoes for an extended period. I'm on my third wear and it's still bothersome/borderline painful. Hopefully will break in better with future wears but after owning over 10 pairs of cole haan shoes, boots, and sneakers, I've never had this negative experience.

Cole Haan isn’t what it used to be. These shoes feel thin and cheap.

Absolutely one of the most uncomfortable shoes I’ve had. I buy Cole Haan all the time and this was the worst yet. My feet and heels hurt after a half day. Tried to take out the insoles to replace them and they are glued in. So uncomfortable. I’m going to try the zerogrand to see if those are better.

It is comfortable to wear...the only thing that annoys me is the material on the bottom of shoes...kinda look like cheap rubber...every step I take it just makes noise letting people in the whole office know that I am coming their way...whether walking on tile, on hardwood floor, on metal....the squeeking sound is terrible...I stopped wearing it after two days... disappointed.

I ordered the same style, size and width from Johnson & Murphy and it fit well. The Cole Haan cut way too small and narrow.

Unfortunately I followed the sizing guide on the website based on existing shoes I own and it recommended a half size smaller. I went with this and am now stuck with a beautiful pair of shoes that is a half size too small.

Nice shoe except lack of cushion in the back, like walking barefoot on a rock. I can even feel the sharp front edge of the back heel. Very uncomfortable. In fact, it hurts my feet.

Overall they're comfortable and look nice, but don't hold up to daily wear. I've had these for less than a year, wearing them Mon-Fri for an office job, and while they're comfortable, they've started to squeak when I walk on carpet, so it isn't the soles interacting with tile (although, they have a different squeak on tile as well). In addition, the shoes are starting to come apart at the soles. Which is unfortunate because they're comfortable and look good.

(1) The EE Wide is a little narrow. (2) The overall quality of the shoe is less than expected: the leather is quite a bit thinner than expected, and a little grainy. Returning these and trying another brand.

Good looking shoe, but felt stiff and narrow out of the box. Took 2 weeks of daily wear to break in, then they were quite comfortable. After 8 months of Mon-Fri wear at work, the heels began squeaking terribly. Never had this happen with another pair of shoes. Frustrating to pay this much (~130$) for shoes that last less than a year. I can only attribute it to poor construction. Will not purchase again.

I have been buying 9W Cole Haan cap toe Oxfords for nearly 20 years. No more. This shoe was incredibly narrow. Very disappointing.

I returned these because the British Tan I received looks nothing like the picture displayed. They are a moderate tan with none of the redish/cognac look you see on the page The sole is shiney, plasticy with what appears to me,a veneer label glued to the heel to resemble a stacked heel. I would grade the leather quality as C+/B-. I never tried them on.

Comfortable after first trying on, however the shoe's poor fit was more evident after a day of walking. Narrow for a medium to wide foot, my toes and heels were blistered on the first few wears. Rubber soles are fine, but this line of CH uses a very shiny plastic and cheap looking rubber. After a few weeks, the shoe just doesn't want to fully break in, and walking in these is very clunky and painful despite the rubber sole. Cap is large for the style and makes your feet look like boats. Not worth the purchase even when it was discounted. Cole Haan quality clearly below its price point.
