They really are comfy shoes. Almost like a slipper but not really. Sometimes I have to remind myself that I'm actually wearing a shoe. They're very light, breathable and easy to slip on and off. I've been running no drop shoes for a few years and decided to take the plunge into replacing most of my other shoes with no drops like these. I fully support the concept that if given enough time, my feet will stabilize my whole body without the need of expensive shoes with tons of padding.

I love these shoes and how they make my feet feel everything on the ground. It just seems like this is how a shoe should feel. I can't wait to try other styles of Xero Shoes. I really looking foward to trying a pair of running shoes and trail shoes.

I love the Hana so much I put them on the first day and have worn them everyday since. I am currently deployed and I brought them with me for daily wear. They wick sweat in these harsh heat environments. I have noticed the glue or adomething starting to come apart at the sole of the shoes at the from where my toes bend. I dont know if that falls under the warranty or not but I love the canvas.

I've been able to wear these for everything from mild hikes to walking around town and everything in between! They're very well made and the option to remove the insole is a huge win for me. You'll feel more grounded than ever as soon as you try these babies on!

I don't generally write reviews, but I am utterly amazed by these shoes - I have two pairs now. I have flat feet and the idea of getting shoes with no support seemed counterintuitive if not downright stupid. My son got a pair and raved about them. I got them more for father/son bonding than for any good reason. Remarkably enough I can walk for miles without my feet hurting. My knees had been bothering me especially when coming down stairs and that stopped. Even standing in one place for a long period would often be excruciating and now my feet may hurt a little but I can relax into the pain so it's not bad at all. I really don't get how this works but it's wonderful. The downside is that I can't wear most of my old shoes.

I am on my feet a lot in the Healthcare field. I went through Adidas, Nike, and ASICS and I still had bad foot pain. I especially have problems with my left pinky toe. A friend told me about the idea of these and I was skeptical. Majority of what we do is on concrete now, no way it's comfortable. I was wrong. These shoes are like socks. I had to change how I was walking to how I should have been walking and when I have these on I feel the ground and I don't have my toe pain or foot pain. I even bought a Lems sneaker to expand on barefoot shoes and had more toe pain. I just bought a pair of xero prios and I am super excited to get more. Keep doing great, guys! I love the flat sole, not rounded at all like lems is.

This was a replacement for a pair I bought in October. As part of the warranty, they were replaced due to the heel support strap snapping where it threads through the sole. I have another pair from the same time frame that I will most likely have to do the same thing with. Great shoe. Only issue is the heel strap fraying at that connection point but was covered under warranty.

I'm a barefooter. I got these for the rare times when my feet would need some extra protection. Next best thing to being barefoot! I love that they're rain friendly!

For me the Hana was my introduction into the barefoot (shoe) world. And as such Id say that my opinions here should be taken with that inexperience in mind. That being said, I absolutely love them. Ive even recently gone so far as to purchase a pair of Z-trails for the summer once it rolls around. Theres a mens clearance version on sale and if your in search of a minimalist sandal, though Ive only worn them around the house, Id recommend them so far. Now as far as the Hana, I would say they are as described, although my pair has a small stitching issue near the big toe of the right shoe I would say they are the perfect way to go as an intro into the minimalist shoe game, they arent too expensive and they cover all the basis for minimalism. They are comfortable, flexible and the only thing Id change about them is ordering a 14 instead of my usual 13. I ordered a 14 in the Z-trail Sandal and I know now thats my size in Xero Shoes! Grab a pair, you wont be disappointed.

First off, I received my first pair of men's Hana's only 2 days ago. As far as durability they seem just as well built as any big brand name shoe but only time will tell but I have high hopes and no reason to think I won't get my money's worth out of these. After all, I've had Merrell's that started falling apart only weeks in! I have "hobbit" feet and finding a shoe that isn't restricting is hard to do, the sizing was spot on but my feet don't feel restricted in the slightest. They truly give me a barefoot feeling as advertised especially after removing the insole for a quick jog around the neighborhood with my kids. The only complaint I can come up with and it might be wishful thinking but I'm required to wear steel toed boots for work and I have a feeling if Xero shoes were to offer a steel toed work boot with a barefoot feeling I would have no reason to buy footwear anywhere else! I think they've gained another lifelong customer here.

I bought the Hanas as my entry to the barefoot world. The plan was to use them around the office, but I did take a opportunity to do a torture test the first time I got them on my feet, and I also take them to increasingly longer hikes through different terrains, so I could better judge if going barefoot will be my thing. Those test proved them to get good grip even on muddy terrain, which I highly doubted from the low profile. And I loved to feel the terrain beneath my feet from the start. I bought them in half size bigger than recommended, only because my size was sold out during the time I was making up my mind :(. I don't mind the extra space at all, and I never felt that the heel would slip off. Must be the because of their small weight and the weight distribution. I usally enjoy them without the additional soles that came with them, but I found that the seam at the heel irritates me a bit during driving a car, so I put the soles back in when I plan a longer drive. There was only one occasion where I wasn't confident enough to wear them, and that was during a descent from a quite steep hill with a mixed loose gravel, stones and embedded rocks. The ascent was actually really fun, feeling the rock under the sole and the shoes survied all the torture, the rubber protection on the front proved its functionality here. But as I was fatigued a bit, and desired adittional stabillity and suport so I switched to my approach shoes, which I carried in the backpack expecting the terrain to become to challanging for barefoot shoes. It was a fun experiment, because you just don't notice some differences if the switch between the shoes doesn't occur in such short time span. My feet were relieved at first, not needing to do extra stabilising work. But soon the weight difference becomes evident, and also I felt inclined to take a careless, uncontroled steps which weren't to good on the knees, and a risk of a misstep is high on such terrain. As office shoes they are as comfortable as a pair of slippers, with added benefit that I can afford to take a breath of fresh air or go to production areas without taking them off. Slipping on and off is really easy. The style is just enough sporty and official at the same time, and they fit in nicely with my companys carpeting, almost to the point they are camouflaged in :).

Glad to have these for my days in the office. They look professional, breathe really well, and feel great. The sole sits a little high under my heel when driving, which alters the position of my foot in a way I don't care for, but I adapt quickly and don't notice unless it's a long drive. I bring it up only because other footwear I have does not do this.

Second purchase made. Considering third. Getting used to this new style shoe. Was using aggressive orthotics prior to purchase, was surprised at the ease of transition and lack of pain. Telling all my friends.

It's a good barefoot shoe for rainy days. Only the laces system at the tounge is a bit problematic for me
