I just got these and they fit like a glove. The build quality and materials -so far, seem spot on. Nice thick full-grain tumbled and oiled nubuck leather. Im new to Xero and those side straps are a nice little addition to make sure they secure to my foot. I have wide foot and high instep/vamp -theres no pinching from the sides of my mid-foot. Super impressed so far. Ill be using these for work, mostly in office settings in rotation with my Coalton Chukkas -which I love as well. Steven and Lena and the Xero team, keep up the good work. Go Buffs!!

The Alston is great. It's the perfect shoe to wear when a dress code matters. No more squeezing my toes into wingtips!

I love the shoes. They have taken a great shine. I wear them almost every day. My only complain is that the laces are way too long. I have no idea what to do with all this extra lace flopping around all the time. Thank you!

I'm not in love with the style of these shoes, but they do look good. Very comfortable. There is *no arch support* but that is because the shoes are designed to be "barefoot" type shoes that allow your foot to move naturally. I would recommend that you learn how to exercise your feet before jumping into these kinds of "barefoot" shoes, but it is so worth it. These shoes with wide toe box and no heel lift actually allow me to be on my feet all day and not have back pain. Big fan of Xero shoes.

The fit and size were perfect. They are exactly what I was looking for in a barefoot feel. Unfortunately, the laces broke the third time I wore them.

They fit great but the shoelaces broke on the third time wearing them. I’m returning them.

These shoes felt good, but walking on any kind of bare floor, they made a squeaking sound, so I had to send them back for a refund. I bought a pair of blue aqua x sport shoes, and they are awesome!

I do enjoy the shoes, but the laces come untied often. I also think the profile could be more business casual, but it did not stop me from buying another pair.

I like the style it's just that the shape doesn't really suit well with a suit. They are too narrow on the heel and with the wide toebox it makes it look like a clown shoe.

Took alittle while to figure out what size fit me best but I say it was worth it. They look great, the leather feels great and I really like the leather shoe laces. I gave them a 4 out of 5 instead of a perfect 5 because my feet and ankles were sore after the first few times wearing them. Still getting used to Xero and their products.

I do like these a lot. I save them for more formal work related things. I dont wear them everyday.

Im so glad there is a zero drop dress shoe with a thin sole. Love these! One thing I dont like is they are a little tight on the top of my foot up towards my ankle. Great shoe!

I am a big fan of Xero shoes and liked the style of this shoes. If you have a one hour business meeting, you are good to go. But anything more than an hour, your feet start sweating; the material doesn't breathe. Make sure you bring extra socks/shoes to change out when the meeting is over.

I typically wear a 10 or 10.5. Ordered a 10.5 and the shoe is too short, but much too wide. To pull the laces tight enough the two sides would be overlapping. Ordering a size up my help the length but would be even wider. Also... the toe box is kind of high, making the shoe look like a clown shoe. Returning and will look elsewhere for a casual/dressier shoe.

The shoes look and feel great, but the sole of one of the shoes started becoming pretty detached only after about a month and a half of wear.

The fact that i never got to try these on in the store and that the shoes came with a message stating if i wear the shoes i cant return them. Im very disappointed in how this company conducts its business. With that being said im sure the shoes are great but id like to be able to know i feel good in them and have at least 30 days to wear them or at least be able to try them on in stores i went with merrell barefoot shoes instead and will be purchasing from vivobarefoot for my next pair of barefoot shoes since they have a 100 day trial warranty.

Uncomfortable and clumsy. I returned them and hope you will refund my money as promised.
