Last year I started wearing Xero Shoes with the Z-Trail hiking sandals (footbed too slick for hiking but I love them for regular wear) and then the Prio (sole is slick for hiking but I love them for lots of other activities). This year I jumped in and bought the TerraFlex and got exactly what I need - they fit great (seriously - my toes can wiggle and do their thing!), the sole is very grippy, and they flex like any good Xero Shoe should. I have hiked with them on dirt, gravel, roots, rocks, hills, and through streams - they've been great and I'm so glad I bought them.

I prefer to run in sandals, but there are times (not many really), where one might wear a shoe. I have not worn the Mesa, but Im sure thats great too. Strava tells me I have 892 miles on the TerraFlex. I see no reason to think they wont go another 1000 (both tread and the uppers are holding up well). Those miles were done on the rough, rocky terrain of the Cross Timbers of North Texas - a bunch of that in the summer heat. When I had less than a 100 miles on them, our puppy chewed up one of the uppers; I had to punch a new hole for the half chewed up lace, a lace that has been dangling by the same thread for 800 miles. These shoes are tough. If you need/want a trail show that can take a bunch of abuse, this is it. Ive had them through mud, creeks, rain, the washing machine (at this point who cares?) countless times. I have heard some folks say they can get hot, but Im not sure thats the right way to put it. It its 100 degrees they will be hot like any other closed shoe - I did not notice that they were any better or worse than previous running shoes - if you want cool feet in the Texas summer, you might as well just stay in the house. Or buy a pair of Z-Trails! Thanks Xero!

Love these shoes; this is pair number 2. I am a woman who normally wears a size 11 but Xero's women's shoes run small. Have found that the Men's Terra flex works well for me. I normally wear a men's 9.5 in other shoes, but have gone up a half size to 10.0 in the "new" Xero sizing. (My old terraflexes were a 10.5). This feels a teeny weeny bit short but I think it's ok. The softness of the upper means the shoe can mold to my foot, unlike the waterproof Xcursion...that was a disaster--extra fabric for a fatter man's foot bunched up and formed painful wrinkles. Wish Xero made larger women's shoes; until then, have to stick with these. My advice--go at least a half size up.

Excellent trail running and hiking sneaker. Not fully waterproof but water resistant enough where you can go running in the rain with them. Excellent grip on trails.

Ive been wearing Xero sandals for years. This is my first set of Xero shoes. Im so impressed, Xero can count on my continued patronage for other shoes. Comfortable. Light. Great grip. Almost feels barefoot. Thanks.

I pretty much wear these shoes every day. Hike the trail, play golf, best shoes ever.

Great traction, and comfortable on trails! Love the width of toe box and the protection from rocks with a good sole and still feels very minimal.

Had these all winter pretty much and then up to now. Removed insoles and they were still plenty warm, hot days lately they're not too hot. I actually enjoy running now, for literally the first time in my life I'll do it for leisure. I recommend walking in the grass when possible, but even on concrete my damaged hips and knees pretty much healed up and didn't come back after just a couple weeks. They felt super nice in just a few days, glad I stuck with them. Ordered another pair in case they go out of stock but nothing, not even the tread, has any wear really. Love these so much.

So far, so great. I am new to minimalist shoes. I started out using the TerraFlex on walks and have recently been hiking in them 5 star rating. I am only wearing Xero's shoes for all my activities. I purchased several other models of Xero shoes; Prio, Hana, Aptos and Z-trek sandals. Great quality and fit. My feet are loving the barefoot change!

The shoe was a great fit and I was able to use it fully from the beginning. Comfortable as ever and really enjoy to small amount of water resistance it gives me. Works very well outside (as designed) but the lugs make walking on flat surfaces a little uncomfortable. Overall another awesome product.

it's so nice to walk on these shoes without feeling cramped toes. I got wide feet and this is the perfect match since these shoes are perfect designed for your feet. For long walks I put insert sole in these shoes for more comfort for my heels (they are sensitive) Very nice cool looking hiking shoe. I think I found the shoe brand that will get along with me for a long time.

I love these!!! Virtually no break in period, they were comfortable out of the box. Purchased a set of Colorado Shandals to go with it.

My son loves the shoes. Wears nothing else.

I absolutely love these shoes. I just did a 6 hour hike with them and felt like I was floating! These TerraFlex shoes are so light compared to my other traditional trail running shoes. I love the grip too. I was able to get some great foot holds with these babies. Not only are they great for the trail, but they pass the wife test and look great with jeans and a night out. These are my first pair of Xero Shoes and I am converted!

My second pair and fully satified

I decided to take a chance on these. I am a woman with large and wide feet so I often buy mens shoes but they look and feel so clunky. When these arrived I put them on right away and didnt want to take them off! Like slippers but sturdy enought that I went for a long walk, planted many new plants, played with my grandkids...still didnt want to take them off! My daughter agreed that they look stylish and made my feet look smaller...I was even wearing thickish socks and wiggling my toes freely. I will be ordering other styles!

Amazing shoes to go to archery competitions - specially for staff and coaches who need to go around the field to help any team member.

Purchased these for my husband. I love my xeros. But my husband loves Vans. When we went hiking he struggled. For his birthday I gifted him these. He wears them often. He loves them! Im thankful.

great shoe in all weather/terrain the new sizing kind of screwed me, a little too big now that I've switched to summer socks

I loved them the first time I received them and continued to do so for every day after since that's how often I wore them. The first pair had something go wrong with them and customer service was phenomenal in making everything right. Now I have my second pair and I can get back to finding more adventures.

These shoes are super comfortable and ridiculously durable. This is my second pair and the first pair were used for everything from hiking to yardwork. And I guess the fact that I bought the same shoe again means I love 'em.

Good casual shoe do not recommend that they are used for working out but a nice casual shoe that runs true to size.

After reading numerous reviews and checking out a variety of brands, I was very hopeful this would be the perfect shoe for me. I'm normally a women's 8/8.5, but since I read these shoes run small, I ordered an 8.5 and a 9 to try for size. I didn't realize this is a men's shoe, so they were both too large. However, after also trying on a couple Xero women's shoes in my size, I liked the extra width in the toe box for the men's shoe, so I am going to try a smaller size and hope that I can find the perfect fit. As a show, it is very comfortable and lightweight, has excellent traction, and nice padding around the heel for comfort.
