This is my first pair of Xero shoes. I have otherwise worn the Cloud sandals for well over 5 years now (on my second or third pair as I literally wear them through spring, summer and fall (so long as the temps are 7 degrees celsius or higher). I like these shoes for walking 100%. I opted to start using these as my running shoes.. I have been having foot issues throughout the past winter (from a horrid pair of slippers that caused my feet to cramp uptook me a few weeks to figure out if it was the culprit) after some extensive foot rolling and massage, it now hurts to even run in my usual favourite running shoes; mizunos. The HFS have worked out well once I figured out that I need them loosely tied, (my feet cramp up otherwise) I have been GRADUALLY building up running mileage in them as my legs turn rock solid otherwise. Lots of stretching, foam and foot rolling ensues after each prolonged use. After using them exclusively over the last week; they are growing on me. I love the pink colour and I have already been asked by a MEC employee where I bought them: with green envy in her eyes! XD Super cute shoes and I would recommend. I wear a size 8 in the cloud sandals and a size 9 in Mizunos. I purchased an 8.5 in HFS and they fit perfectly =)

The HFS is my third pair of Xero shoes; they have all been instantly comfortable right out of the box. I bought these to be my everyday run around shoe. The Steel Grey color is much prettier in person. The mesh is lavender and it has a vintage lace vibe going on. Subtle but pretty! Size wise these fit the same as my Mesa Trail and a half size up from my Colorado. I switched to zero drop shoes awhile ago but just recently transitioned into more minimalist styles. Xero Shoes are my new favorite brand. Their almost barefoot yet protected feel is perfect for my 60 plus aged feet and makes me feel young again!

I bought these to replace my Prios, that I wear almost daily, both at work and normal life (I work in a gym). These are my new favorites! They seem to be even more lightweight than my previous shoes, and they fit my feet like they were custom made for me. I followed the recommendation of sizing up 1/2 size from my normal Xero size, and they fit perfectly. Bonus -- I love how they look against the purple turf at my work! Ha!

Probably fine for earthen trails, but the molded tread of the sole isn’t comfortable on sidewalk/hard surfaces.

Great shoes, very comfortable, but they apparently don't breathe at all because they make my feet stink. Would not recommend, will not buy another pair.

The reviews that say to order a half size larger than your normal size are right, though if you are just barely a size 10 usually, you can probably go with your normal size ten. I really like the shoes, but I will say they are definitely made for someone with high volume feet. If you have lower volume (i.e. flatter) feet, you will really need to cinch down on the laces to keep them tight enough, and the fabric might bunch near the toe. I just wear these inside the house, for normal life and for working out. Because they are not made for low volume feet, I have found that they twist around my foot while I am doing lateral movements.

The material was very cheap feeling inside the shoe and the exterior was very cheap looking.

I am normally a size 6 but got 6.5 in this shoe. It is very comfortable. Toe box is amazing, none of my toes hurt even after wearing all day. I love wearing them and for now, have put aside my Skechers and Asics.

I read it was a half size smaller so order 8.5 v 8 and it worked well.

This shoe is really comfortable, and super light. It's almost like not wearing any shoes! I really liked it, however, I think for my first pair of barefoot shoe, it's best I have a little more thickness between my feet and the ground. I am going to keep the 360 instead, as it's also very comfortable, but has a bit more thickness on the sole. I like both the HFS and 360 better than the Prio. The Prio felt very thick, around my ankle and the whole shoe and toe box. For a petite, low volume foot, the HFS is best, but 360 is going to be better for cross training. HFS definitely runs a half size smaller than usual. 5.5 in HFS felt the same length as 5.0 in Prio and 360. Now I know I need 5.5 in Prio and 360, and 6 in HFS (my usual size in other shoes is 5.5, Brookes, for example).

Good shoes. I wear them everyday for cardio and working out and they have lasted me over a year. They are comfortable and have great support.

I absolutely love these shoes! I am now buying a second pair, to replace the first identical pair that I have almost worn out, a year and a half of every day CONSTANT use, which is a pretty great lifespan if you ask me. I could probably continue to wear this pair for another six months or more, easily, with the HFS changing over to HFS ll , I want to make sure I snag the originals before they are unavailable again

I’ve had these about three years and they look great. I am not kind to them and have washed them in the washing machine a few times. I use these for hiking on our farm, in the mud and chicken pens even. They are amazing. I’m buying another pair whenever these do finally wear out. They look great after a fresh wash and that made me write this!

I absolutely loved these and hated to send them back but there was just not enough support for someone with a high arch. Otherwise perfect!

Plenty of space in the toe box and no area that rub. Wonderful!

Excellent, 'minimalist' sneaker. Great for walking around and gym workouts. They give the comfort of walking barefoot and look good! The width of the shoe is natural - like a Birkenstock. They were great right off the start, no need to break into these shoes.

I love this barefoot sneaker. I especially like how I can easily remove the insole for that rewarding ground feel on days when I’m walking on the earth. I can slide the insoles back in on those days when I need more protection for walking on concrete.

Fits great and feels awesome - like wearing ballet shoes.

These are really comfortable, have a wide toe box, wide mid foot, but fit my narrow heel. I can walk around them for hours. They are light weight and travel well.

These shoes are so comfortable, breathable, and lightweight. I’m searching for a brand to replace Altra and I might have found it. I love the wide toe box and minimalist feel!

Great fit, no arch support and plenty of room for my toes.

This shoe is amazing. I've always worn high arch support sneakers/gym shoes. These shoes allow better gripping with the toes and therefore better results when working out. They are also stylish to wear out and about. I have several pairs.

These shoes are amazing! I am not a runner but I wanted something for the gym and attempting to play basketball with my partner, and they are so incredibly comfortable right out of the box. I have a LOT of shoes and I already know these are my favorite. I've never worn barefoot shoes before but I am in love. I wear a true size 8 and got them in 8 with a perfect fit. I also have back problems from weight gain over the last couple of years so I'm hoping that what I've heard about these shoes comes true (as far as less pain from standing all day). I really don't want to take them off, they're so comfy. I'm glad I took the plunge and got these, finally!

It is a great walking shoe. We really like it because it is light and comfortable.
