Beautiful, very well made pair of boots made with top notch materials (i.e., real wood heel and soft, supple leather). Unfortunately, I couldn't get my foot into them. I cannot attest to their width or arch support, as I could not get them on my feet. They were at least a half size, if not full, size too small. Will try sizing up a full size.

Pro: so cool, very beautifully made, and feel very solid. Seems like I'll have these boots forever Cons: very narrow - and I sized up a 1/2 size based on others' recommendations here. Forget thick socks, only thin works. They don't have arch support for high arches These are not very comfortable right now because they're tight and the arch support isn't great. I'm keeping them because they are so beautiful, well-made, and I appreciate the company's ethics. Fingers crossed that they mold to my feet like everyone says they will.

I was so excited about these boots, however my normal, true to size, 9.5 was much too narrow, tight in the heel and tight at the top of foot near the ankle. I wore them with thick socks indoors for a day or two but felt they were not ever going to break in to the point of comfort, especially at the top of the foot. The length of the foot seemed OK. Customer service was great when I reached out to discuss, and ultimately exchanged for a size 10. Now that I have the size 10 they do fit better, but definitely provide extra space in the toes / shoe length than I actually need. And I feel like they make my feet look like long boats which doesn't make me feel especially attractive. However, after much debate, I'm going to keep them because I got them on sale and they are nice looking boots, just didn't meet my expectation in fit/comfort.

Leather is luscious. Fit like a dream right out of the box with thin and thick socks. Love the detailed stitching and solid but not overwhelming sole. More than I initially wanted to spend but worth every dollar!

I'd read as many reviews as I could find, saw dozens of pics, and I expected a gorgeous, well-crafted boot...but it's even better than I hoped. The quality is impeccable. To help others: I generally wear a size 6 / size 36. I very occasionally have to size up to a 6.5 in some hiking boots/shoes. I wear a standard width, but my feet are probably just a smidge wide (not enough to warrant a wide width). Following the reviews to size up if one wears socks/thick socks, I did so...and the result was comical. They were SO long. Ridiculously so. I worried a size 6 would be too narrow, but I exchanged to find out. The length for the size 6 is perfect. They've taken about a week to break in but they're feeling great now. I have a high arch and a high instep, and it's the high instep that required the longer break-in period. They still feel a smidge stiff, but now when I put them on, I don't want to take them off. I'm going to live in these.

Qualifier: I'm a tough critic when it comes to boots. I have been known to spend years searching for the perfect pair. I believe less is more. When I opened the duster bags, the rich smell of leather was the first thing I noticed. The soft, supple feel of the boots was next. The craftsmanship is second to none. Every detail is simply gorgeous! I had to loosen the laces to slip them on but once I got my tootsies in there- HEAVEN! They hugged my foot like they were custom made- just for me. I followed the guidance of the reviews and ordered a half size up. I am usually a 9 and ordered these in 9.5. They fit like a glove! I have worn them every day since (my other boots are getting a little sad...) and I cannot say enough great things about these babies. The more I wear these, the more I absolutely love them. The leather is buttery soft and breathable. My feet don't get sweaty even though they're made of durable leather. They feel stiff and restrictive at first but quickly break in for a perfect and comfortable fit. The materials look and feel quality. Even the shoe laces feel sturdy, well woven, and waxed. The eyelets are secure and add a classy look. The soles are real wood with a rubber covering. The soles may take a bit getting used to if you have only owned cheap shoes with hollow soles. These soles are not near as flexible and do click a little while walking but I don't mind this anymore. They feel like they are meant to be worn for many years. Well constructed! I will be back to buy some nisolo tennis shoes. I am truly impressed after being let down so many times by cheap, throw away shoes meant only for one season.

These boots are a work of art. One feels rather narrow, but I am confident that it is because one of my feet is wider. The leather is lovely, and I believe that it will fit like a glove after a few wearings.

I've had these boots for about a week now--- they're almost completely broken in though, at the moment, they are a touch tight where my feet are the widest. I am usually an 8- 8/.5, so I went with the 8.5 which fits even with thick socks on. I have relatively wide feet, so I was surprised at how well the boots fit even before breaking them in.

Love these boots! Stylish and comfortable, love the flexibility to dress them up or down.

These are the boots of my dreams! Super comfortable and stylish. My only feedback: I ordered several pairs of shoes and when I opened the delivery box the shoes were all loosely thrown around inside. The shoe boxes were badly beat up and some of the shoes appeared worn. Some additional effort on careful packaging would go a long way!

I ordered these boots after tons of research. They are worth ever penny. I've been wearing them for about a week now and the leather is breaking in nicely. They are very comfy, half sized up and it was perfect. I like that they feel naturally wider without looking wide.

I got the Amalia Boots in tobacco and they are gorgeous! I needed boots to replace my all weather duck boots, which were functional, but honestly lacked any style at all. Now I feel like I can wear these Amalias with literally ANY outfit! I picked the neutral tobacco color on purpose to be more versatile, since the weather is nasty in the winter and I pretty much wear these shoes everyday. The Amalias definitely need to have a breaking in phase, but it doesnt take too long, plus they slide on so comfortably. Ive never been disappointed with any shoes from Nisolo.

I am more than pleased with my new boots!! I sized up a half size because my original size was a little tight on top of the foot. Plus I hope to wear them with thick socks so the extra room is nice!

I first ordered a women's 8.5 (US) Medium width. It was too tight. I then ordered a women's 9 (US) Medium width. It's a bit longer than what I need but not quite as tight. I think 8.5 Wide width would've been just right but I don't see them in stock. I'm impressed by the quality and the fact they are waterproof. I can't wait to wear them on our trip to Europe this spring.

So happy to have a beautiful new pair of boots. The color is gorgeous and they a comfy! Buying a belt to match asap.

These shoes have a rich color and nice leather. Worth the price. The leather is stiff at first but only takes a couple of wears to be comfortable.
