This is just a great quality shoe. I could smell the great quality leather wafting as I opened the box. The shoe is looks to be well made and I would imagine it will hold up for years to come. This shoe was pretty comfortable right out of the box, which I wasn't totally expecting for a quality leather shoe with Vibrum sole. I was expecting more of a break in period. Although, I the toe box did initially seem a little shallow, so the shoe pressed against the top of my foot and toes. That loosened fairly quickly. I would also recommend half sizes should size down. I typically wear between a 12 and 13 and typically only size up when width becomes an issue, since my foot is slightly on the wide side.. I purchased the 12 in this shoe and it has plenty of room in the toe box and width was perfect. They look great with just about anything I pair it with. The only reason I am giving it a 4 star review, instead of 5 stars is due to the support offered. While this shoe does have a Vibrum sole, it feels a little flat inside the shoe. Someone who needs more arch support may find this lacking. Also, I was expecting a removable insole in a shoe at this price point, but it seems to be glued permanently in to the shoe. Not a deal killer, but it would improve the arch support if I could use my own insert. I did try adding a heel cushion and it fit fine without reducing the quality of the fit. I did not try a full insert, since my toes were already tight in the toe box. I may try that next, once these loosen up.

Excellent quality. Comes with extra laces which is nice. They will take a while to break in. They're not too comfortable initially due to the stiffness of the material. They run a half size smaller than what you typically wear.

A bit darker than expected and I don't find that they fit big, as many reviews said.

The shoe is fine, but the store was referred to me by a guide book which said the makers of the shoe were Peruvian workers, but on the shoe itself it said made in Mexico??

I love the look and quality of the shoe. I usually wear size 10 but bought 9.5 for this pair because that was recommended. But 9.5 is still too big. I think some adjustments need to be made on the sizes.

The shoes is great, I'd prefer if it was suede.

It took a while to Break these shoes in, my heel was getting cut up badly at first. Once broken in they have been very comfortable and I really like the looks.

The vibram sole is very heavy. More appropriate for boots than sneakers. But beautiful looking shoe. And love the ethical side of the manufacturing

I have had these shoes for a few weeks. I got them for the office since I wanted something comfortable and a bit nicer than a sneaker. They look great but have very hard soles so my feet kill using my standup desk. Would be worth making them with a bit more of a cushioned insole.

LOVE the look, HATE the poor quality insole - no support, not thick, feels like walking on a hard floor. Worse, you can't replace insole as it's glued, impossbile to get out - terrible for a shoe this price.

Left shoe is perfect. The right one came with a piece of excess leather in the interior of the shoe that is like walking with a stone in your shoe wherever you go. Pretty disappointing given the price.

I've been wearing these intermittently for three weeks and already the sole started shedding' the bright white rubber facade, leaving a more ivory look. The shedding' makes the shoes look really worn, unfortunately. Also, the sole unstuck from the leather on day 1 of wearing these. I will say the leather ages nicely, but I'm bummed these didn't hold up better.

Very stiff and uncomfortable

My son loved these shoes. Unfortunately, Zappos sent a pair that was clearly a return & in poor condition - dirty soles, scuff marks on the side & toe area of sneakers. As this was a Christmas gift it was especially disappointing. I have shopped with Zappos for years & never had this happen. Very disappointing.

I bought a pair of these after wanting them for months! I received the first pair and it is beautifully packaged and everything but open the box and the top leather was crinkled and bubble. So they said they would let me exchange for another pair....the exchange took a very long time and then I open the new pair and it is worse than the first pair. For a pair of shoes that cost as much as they do, you think it would be top notch quality when you can go to target and get a pair of 30$ shoes that are similar with no issues.
