I love the look and quality of the boot, but definitely runs narrow. #SWEEPSTAKES

Disappointed and had to return. Sizing was inconsistent. Left shoe was not only unusually narrow, but the inner liner was all lumpy in the toebox. (Previous pair I had of this style was great)

I work in a plant nursery and need shoes that are waterproof and comfortable for being on my feet most of the day. I like the look of these, and they feel durable, but unfortunately the wide width feels way too tight like a narrower shoe. I should have read the reviews more closely. I actually double-checked the box to make sure I had received the right size. I'm a 7W and haven't had an issue with other wide shoes fitting tight in the width like this. I would recommend for narrower feet, but if you're a regular width, you may want to consider ordering a wide.

Ordered the Mt Maddsen Valley in grey along with two other styles of Timberlands (Jenness Falls and Courmayeur Valley). Of the three, Mt. Maddsen Valley was the most narrow. I have a regular width foot and the Mt. Maddsen felt too narrow and tight in the toe. Additionally, the grey seems to scuff a lot just taking it in and out of the box. Cute colors however!

I loved how this boot felt under my foot and around my ankles, but I have a narrowish foot and these are too narrow. Also, they crease right over my big toe joint. Nuts.
Unusual for Zappos, the crease was there when I opened the box as were some dirt marks near the sole. I can only presume these were returned before. That said, if they had fit well, I would have kept them.
I'd also recommend:
I love Birkenstock, Brooks, and Vionic.

Nice boot- true to size but very squeaky so 3 stars overall. Experience tells me if a shoe squeaks at the start it will never go away.

Even though I ordered a wide width, these are too narrow, my toes were going numb. I love them, but they have to go back. I would recommend if you have super narrow feet.

A well-built hiking boot by a reliable company. I plan on purchasing from Timberland again.
The color "brown" that I ordered appeared lighter, more golden, in the online photos than the color I received and the invoice said "toasted coconut". I will try another color and appropriate size.

I chose my size based on the measurement guide. My foot measures 25 cm and I'm a size 8. That's no surprise. The problem is that the boots are smaller and narrower. The materials are also hard and literally hurt your foot. I don't recommend them. I gave it two stars because the color is pretty. That's the only thing I appreciate about it.

Love all my timberlands and these are SUPER cute but they were not great when worn for hours on trail in the Canadian Rockies. My feet hurt every single day I wore these, and now I'm out a pair of hiking boots I had considered an investment

The boots are lovely to look at. I had hoped they would work out. I am normally an 8 wide and those were too small, so I went a half size up, but even the 8 1/2 wide was too narrow. Very disappointed. I would have liked them otherwise.

Way too narrow like other reviews said. Even sizing up didn't help because the toe box felt very cramped.

We received these as a gift for our toddler. At first I loved them on her, she loved them, too. After the SECOND WEAR I noticed that the soles on both boots had separated from the bottom. The left one separated at the toe, the right one had completely separated at the toe, heel, and started to separate on the inside of the foot. I tried talking to a rep (Jana) via chat and she informed me that because they were a gift I could attempt to file a claim but it wasn't guaranteed. What? Why ask if they were a gift in the warranty claim then if it's not viable? Can Timberland no longer guarantee or stand by their products? I am SO upset about this. My family has always loved our "Timbies" because of how durable they've always been. We've been able to wear them in all seasons. The fact that the quality has very obviously gone down SIGNIFICANTLY is pathetic. You seemingly can't find well made boots anymore. So much for being a trusted brand. Don't waste your money on something that is now merely a "fast fashion" item.

Cushioning at top is extrememely uncomfortable, hard as a rock gave me black & blue marks around upper ankle areas.. taking them to a shoemaker to see if he can cut the whole top of the boot o ff..

I bought these boots years ago, and sadly had to return them because there was a defect in the left toe box that makes them unwearable. I replaced those with a different Timby hiking boot that was perfect in every way. Recently I ordered this pair again, thinking there's no way something could go wrong again. It was like they resent the same pair. Unwearable.

I returned these because they were too narrow. I have a narrow foot but still desire a generous toe bed which this these boots do not have. I purchased the White Ledge Mid in size 8 which have a very generous toe bed and which I highly recommend. They are comfortable and holding up well so far.

I bought these to replace some well worn Scarpas. I thought they felt a little stiff when I first brought them home, but figured there would be a break in period. I have worn these just a few times, as they have stayed stiff and cause my feet to go numb and ache. These run really narrow and long. The insoles are quite hard and unyielding and make my feet go numb in a few different places. I wore them driving my jeep which has a clutch and I almost drove to a shoe store after about a half hour in traffic to buy different shoes as I couldn't feel my feet.
Probably past the point of returning to the store since I've worn them outside a few times. Last ditch effort will be to get different insoles to see if I can make a difference. Not recommended at all.

I wear a medium or in a hiking boot I'll order a Wide if available. I ordered 6.5 Wide and it is too narrow. In the reviews others mentioned the wide was narrow but I took a chance. Nope, too narrow.
