I bought these to use as a warm weather hiking boot and rain boot. I was very excited when they came in. They look great and fit good enough (might have to buy some insoles if you have high arches). I wore these on a walk in the rain and later noticed the sole of the left boot is coming detached. I've put a photo below. Disappointed in the quality. I expected more from timberland, especially considering these boots aren't cheap.

I bought these for an upcoming hiking trip. I waited to review until they were broken in. I hiked miles in these through Arizona (Grand Canyon and Sedona). Break in period was short - maybe one day easy hiking. My feet weren't sore - I just needed an adjustment on socks/laces and spent the next several days hiking in them and they were so comfortable that I wore them everywhere even if we were not hiking. Comfortable with a lot of ankle support. I got these over trail runner type hikers specifically for the extra ankle support for rock climbing, etc. LOVE these boots! Well worth the purchase. Can't wait to put many more miles on them. Timberland's last forever.

I want to start off by saying that they are nice boots. I was disappointed that after my first day of wearing them the bottom was already peeling off from the front of the boot. Its not a major tear but I wasn't doing any crazy hiking and expected them to hold a little better since my other timberlands held super well for years and weren't made for hiking. But I will say they did not need broken in because they were already really comfortable.

Used this product to hike around Idaho. Perfect grip for mountains and caves. Felt true to size. Loved the color and fit of the boots.

Boot itself was narrower than I expected because a lot of hiking boots are usually pretty wide and clunky but it didnt feel too narrow at all. Very comfy sole and very cute!

Honestly, this is my first pair of Timberlands. I absolutely LOVE them. I needed a good waterproof hiking boot and these are it. The only issue I had was when I got them, one of the brackets for the laces wasn't bent onto the boot properly and did pop off the first time I went to tie them. I was disappointed but it seemed like it was just a glitch with the assembly at factory. I bent it back on with pliers and the boot was perfect. Zappos also made good on the fact that I had just spent so much on the boots and the bracket popped off right away. Other than that, these boots are super comfortable, absolutely waterproof and fit perfect. I actually ordered a second pair of timberlands already!

I have issues with high arches which makes shoes/boots difficult to wear, but these were comfortable the first day. They also kept my feet completely dry while I was pressure washing a house, even once it started to rain. I am very happy with all my Timberland purchases.

It fits true to size. It doesn't look clunky or bulky in person, which I was worried about when looking at the website photos. It's comfortable immediately when putting them on. They are pretty stylish as well.

I have a wide foot and sometimes have to go to WW in shoes. I bought these in wide and they are perfect. Still a lot of structure without be tight or hurting. Overall my last Timberland boots lasted over 25 years so I knew I wanted this brand again. AND they have fun color combines- more than they did 25 years ago :)

This hiking boot was great. I needed new hiking boots fast. I took these with me to Alaska. Typically I like to break in my shoes I'm before going on a trip but there was no time. It was still great. No need to break in. I ordered a size 9. I wear a size 8 or 8 1/2 in vans. I also wear a size 7 1/2 in converse. I hope that helps. I decided to go up a size only because I was wearing thick wool socks. So they fit perfect. If you plan to wear normal socks then stay true to your size. I still sprayed mine with waterproof spray just to be safe. Very comfy. I have an old pair of hiking boots from timberland and those are a size 8 and no room to wiggle my toes with thick socks. So sizing up worked great for me. They support my ankles and have nice cushion. You can't go wrong with any of there shoes.

The style of this boot is good but the toe box was too tight for me. Also, I think someone else may have returned them. They are already scuffed up. They didn't arrive in their original box and weren't well packed so the scuffing may have happened during shipping as they banged around in the box. However, if they had been comfortable I would still have kept them. I'm going to pack them better for their return trip.

Although the length is right with these (maybe even slightly too long), the width is painfully small. I'm usually a very comfortable size seven for timberlands but the box was literally making my toes goes numb. Aside from that, the cushioning in the sole was extremely comfortable and the shoes themselves were shockingly light with surprisingly good traction. I will say though that the rubber toe guard seems a bit too small for a hiking boot since the leather will probably take a pretty hard beating. In conclusion, I did have to return these because my toes just didn't have enough room. However, I'll be exchanging them for the Chocoruas (the $150 style, RIP to my wallet) in the wide size. I know it's a lot of money but I really love the brand and I know from experience that the shoes will last for years so it's kind of like a long-term investment.

The fit is a bit wide, and it's nearly impossible to tie the laces; It takes a lot of effort to make the laces tight enough for my ankles to be supported. The style is cute, but too uncomfortable for no arch support, and bulkiness everywhere.

Very pleased with these boots. The style and color are exactly what I wanted. Size is true with ample room in the toe box, very comfortable.

Got these for my 4 year old son for Christmas- they are the best! Adorable on him, comfortable, durable in the New England winter weather, and they match pretty much everything. A win! #SWEEPSTAKES
