Well constructed but far too heavy

Too heavy to walk for long in.

I purchased these because I needed waterproof boots for work & from my research, leather is the way to go. I returned them once because I wear a 7.5 & they were WAY small. I ordered an 8.5 & tried them on after I worked 10 hours. They are too heavy. I opted for galoshes, that go over the shoes I already own.

Cute but too clunky.

I wanted so badly to love these. They’re gorgeous, the extra height is great, and the arch support is excellent. But walking in them for even ten minutes makes my legs cramp like crazy, and they’re weirdly narrow in the heel, which doesn’t help. So glad I never tried to wear these to work, I would’ve had to quit two stops into my route.

They felt good on but when I walked they just clomped and would not bend. They felt really awkward to walk in.

These are great looking and I wanted to love these boots but after a month in them I developed a painful callous on my pinky toe due to the boot being too narrow for me. Initially it was fine but after a month it became too painful. It’s possible that my gait has something to do with it? Otherwise these provide great support and protection while working in at an Amazon warehouse. I’ve dropped boxes, kicked pallet jacks in these and was totally protected. I walk an average of 7 miles a day, so I wouldn’t recommend these for that. I’m disappointed these aren’t working out. (I have the composite toe version)

Really cute, but more bulky and stiff than I expected and definitely heavy. If you're buying these as a true work boot, and you're ok with them being a little heavy, I'd say go for it. But for style only, maybe keep looking. I'm sending these back.

The shoe itself feels great but the area around ankles has no give at all.

Extremely warm! If weather outside is cold but mild (40’s/50’s) and you’re moving around I have not needed to wear extra thick socks. In fact, wearing them at work my feet even sweat in cotton crew socks. The one thing I dislike is that there isn’t a padded ankle cuff around the top stitching of the boot so they have actually left red lines on my calves where the boots were rubbing all day. This is a disappointment. Previously I had Irish setter Ashby boots which were fine, I just wanted something that was more waterproof. If these had some lining/padding I’d love them but unfortunately they’ve left me in pain.

I should have read all the reviews first. This boot is great but SO HEAVY. Had to return.

Ordered 7 wide but couldn't even get my foot into the boot with all the laces pulled out! I have high insteps so often can't find boots to wear. So disappointing.

I am a size 8. Based on the review of this shoe, which said it ran true to size, I ordered a size 8. It ran really narrow in the toe box. I read further reviews which recommended ordering a 1/2 size bigger if you have wide feet (which I don't, but decided to try anyway and ordered a size 8.5). Even ordering half size bigger, they still ran really narrow in the toe box. Honestly, it feels like there is some protruding into the toe box on the pinky toe side. Unfortunately, I will be returning these. I did much better ordering Timberland Pro.

I bought these for my wife for Christmas because she has them in grey and loves them. Something changed in the mfg, as the top of the boot, by her ankles is thicker and uncomfortable. Bummer, thought she found "the one".

I LOVE the way these boots look. However, they are the most UNCOMFORTABLE pair of boots I have ever tried on. Immediately upon trying on the boot I noticed the boot dug into the back of my lower calf. Super uncomfortable I couldn't even put the other boot on. I packed right back into the box and started the return process. On the Zappos website page I found 2 other work shoes to try out. I'm a delivery driver for Amazon so the first time I try these new tennis shoes I'll give my review.
