I really wanted to love the Carhartt Wedge. It's a beautiful boot with full grain leather, nice sole and laces that stay put, and AMAZING arch support. Even just walking around in my living room for a few minutes, I could tell that these boots would provide all-day support and prevent foot fatigue after a full day of work or weekend chores. But, these boots are really heavy, especially for a soft toe version. When I read the description, "Weight: 3.875 lbs. Weight of footwear is based on a single item, not a pair." I thought, nah, close to 4 lbs for EACH boot? Yup! These suckers are really heavy. Negates all the bonuses these boots have to offer. So, I am sending back and sticking with the Keen San Jose work boot instead.

I deliver for Amazon and I can’t believe how light-weight, as well as arch-supporting, as well as waterproof, as well as ground-gripping these amazing boots are!! I have a narrow foot and normal arches; check the reviews the arch support is accurate. But to be honest, they are super fashionable as well! No complaints! Only praise! Too bad it looks like it’s out of stock now because it was 25% off the MSRP. Hope you got some if not it’s well-worth the price… A bargain at twice the price actually!

I bought these, as well as additional arch support inserts, to treat sever ankle, knee, and hip pain (also being treated in physical therapy, for the record). These shoes are phenomenal. I've marked them "excellent" for arch support because the soles provided do have well above average arch support. My physical therapist recommended much more support for me as I have a fully collapsed arch, but the provided soles work perfectly in my tennis shoes (which needed more support but also more flexibility). The boots are immediately comfortable except for some pressure adjustment on the back of my leg (I'm a very large lady so my chunky calves are at fault, in my opinion, not the boots). The soles are firm and stable. The material and stitching are high quality. They seem like they're heavy when I pick them up but when they're on my feet it's like walking on air. I really can't recommend these enough. If you've got the coin and you want quality, you're going to love these.

The tong on one foot is off. It hangs to the side. Super annoying.. water would be able to get in the boot because of it.

I wanted to like these so badly! They are cute but very heavy and clunky...I am an Amazon Delivery driver and just move wayyyyy too much for these. I tried different socks, different lacing styles, nothing worked and I was left in agonizing pain and bruising on different parts of both feet and ankles.

My feet are KILLING ME! I have bruises around my calf where the top of the boot was rubbing and digging into my skin because the material is so stiff. I tried breaking them in but the material has zero give and it hurts too bad to even touch. So disappointed because I love carhartt.

I could barely get the shoe on was really tight. Other than that decent shoe. Except kind of hard on the inside.

The fit was true to size. I have more of a regular to narrow foot so a medium width was perfect. I am excited to start my apprenticeship with them. They are very comfortable and durable!

The leather was supple and felt comfortable right away.

I have had them for 2 yrs and they still are holding up

I wore these to work and while stiff and new, I had them on about 12hrs on day one. Very supportive arch. One lace is poor quality- I’ll be replacing them sooner than I should. I love ‘em !

This is literally the only pair of shoes I want to wear! I Love these boots. They feel like I am walking on air! I work for Amazon and these help my feet not get sore after 8 hrs of work. Plus they are awesome in the rain :)

I am an Amazon Delivery person and was looking for waterproof boots that well made and supportive. I have turf toe and needed a stiff sole to prevent extra stress on my big toe joints. When I first tried them on, they felt just a little tight, but figured they would loosen up with wear, which they did. The arches are solid and the shoelaces stay tied! It took me a few days of wearing them on vacation to break them in good and I absolutely love these shoes!! If you are picky about shoes, I would recommend driving to a shoe store and trying these on before ordering to make sure you like the feel and weight. I have also had a ton of compliments on these as well. I’m very happy with this purchase.

These are amazing

The most comfortable boot I’ve ever worn. I find reasons to wear them, even when not working. They are light and sturdy at the same time. It’s funny how many people comment on them as a fashionable choice. I guess it’s all about how you wear them and what you wear them with. I’m just a fan of how they feel! Highly recommended.

By far the most comfortable boot I’ve ever owned! They have great arch support and do not pinch or rub anywhere on the foot. I’ve worn these for 16+ hours with no issues. Almost no break-in period, they’re good out of the box. They’re easy to get on and off and have held up well so far! People mistake them for RedWings all the time. I wish they came in an all black option (sole and stitching) but they’re so comfortable it doesn’t bother me that much.

Very comfortable! Second pair of Carhartt boots I’ve purchased in the last month. Lots of compliments on them! I usually wear a 9-9 1/2 and went with a 10 and glad I sized up.

I wear these shoes on every route, not only do my feet not get wet or muddy, the arch support is heaven to me. I have pretty high arches, but these shoes are amazing for me. If you wear boots regularly they shouldn't be heavy to you. I have never had a day where I come home and my feet hurt they always feel so supported which is crazy to me! This is my go to for work shoes!

I wish they came in half size after size 10. The 10 was just a tad short so I had to get an 11 , they are pretty big. I have to wear thick socks and its HOT! The arch support is incredible . I can now enjoy my yard work and gardening without suffering afterwards. It would be wonderful if I could find shoes this comfortable that didn't look like my husbands work boots, for what i bought them for though they are great. I may wear them more for everyday in the winter.
