Super comfy right out of the box. I was able to take out the removable insole and replace it with my orthotics. I love that it is a really cute casual shoe that is perfect for fall.

I love these boots! The zipper makes it easy to slip on without touching the laces. However I have very narrow feet and these were snug. Also ran about a half size smaller so sending back for a bigger pair.

I typically wear a size 9 shoe in just about everything. Opted for a half size bigger with these. However, they are amazingly comfortable and very cute!

I think these will be fun this winter with skinny jeans and a sweater. Beautiful leather. They’re Born, so completely meets expectations.

Size 9 fit fine and the insole is removeable so I can replace with my custom orthotics. I typically buy an 81/2 but sized up for the extra room for the orthotics and socks. I like the dark red color. Also the ties allow to adjust the fit if the boot is a little loose at the ankle. This is the second pair of Born half boots I've purchased. Going to look great with jeans.

Felt true to size but the boot irritated my ankle, its nice leather so I'm sure hoping it will soften up

I had exchanged for a half-size larger but still too narrow. Love the style but had to return and give up.

Good proportions, width to length. Comfortable -- no troublesome spots. Basic cushioning: better than none, but not "cushy." Removeable insole, so you can use your own favorite cushioning orthotic, if necessary. Bought for outdoor chores, walking the dog, etc.

Good shoe. Not pretty, but good for walking the dog. Thick leather, which feels stiff. Runs 1/2 size large, so will return the big ones. Ordered another pair, 1/2 size smaller -- perfect fit. They don't feel as stiff, either, probably because they're flexing in the right places.

The widest part of the front of my foot is 3.75”. I got a size 7, my usual. Shoe was snug and I knew my feet would start to burn under the squeeze. I have started buying wide but tried this on in a store in grey and it seemed fine. But the taupe one was uncomfortably tight and the heel squeezed and the top rubbed when I walked. The style of this shoe is beautiful. Wished it worked out. Probably should have ordered a 7.5 but I am still leery of the narrowness of this shoe and odd heel feel. I am having a string of bad luck buying shoes but still love Zappos for easy returns.

These boots are cute and generally comfortable but even though my feet measure 7.5, I ordered a full size up to accommodate my bunions. I thought the soft, relatively unstructured top would allow for more room, but disappointingly it did not. If there was a wide version, I would have tried that. Appreciate the convenient return policy, though, Zappo's!

Very cute, soft grippy soles, convenient inside zipper but felt at least half a size small.

I was attracted to the casual, moccasin style. However, these booties fit loose (heel area) and had minimal arch support. Also, although the leather laces seal the deal with the style, they will likely need to be tied very securely as they’d likely become undone. Side zipper is a nice convenience.

Beautiful shoe but unfortunately the shoe veers off to the side and tries to push your foot off in that direction. Felt like I was fighting the shoe.

Nice boot , well made and looks good with jeans and flannels.

Born needs to provide a wider width option, half sizing up does not makeup the need for a wider width.

Love the boot. Can be dressed up or casual. Very comfy and warm. Little loose around the ankle and the tie does tend to come undone

Love Born - always fit my foot comfortably and look great. Ordered the size that always fits and surprise! Too small.

Adorable, but way too small. I'm going to try a 6.5, but they are so big over the arch, I'm a little nervous about ordering them. Great footbed, very cushy! It they weren't so small, I'd keep them just to wear around the house even!

I really wanted to love these. They are so cute! But they we’re not comfortable at all. They seem to run on the small side too. Unfortunately I had to send them back.
