I sized up from my usual 29 to a 30 to try and get a loose fit around the thighs. I got that, but also a huge waist gap and lots of problems in the rise. They just weren't comfortable, although the denim was very soft. I think its hard to get a good jean short fit with an hourglass shaped body.

I have the Shout and Twist in the size 24, though I usually take a size 25 in most denim. These shorts in size 24 fit well in the waist for me, whereas the 25 are a bit too loose. The denim is very thin and not high quality. The distressing at the hem was snagged quite a bit, so it looks bitten up, rather than like the product images. Still, they're cute and easy for summer.

The Deep Sea color is ALOT DARKER in person than what is showing on the website. It's a very dark wash color. Not even close to what is pictured. Very disappointed. There are rips on the sides which I could't see either in the picture. Not sure if I like this over raggedy/ripped up style. These are all going back.
