I am forever looking for the "perfect" winter running jacket: no hood, bright color, and zippered pockets and this is perfect! I am 5'7" 190 lbs and ordered and XL intending to layer and it's even a little too big! I love the quilting detail which makes it light but also warm. I wear a long sleeve performance under it for about 20 runs and I am very warm but not too hot! The neck isn't too stiff so I don't feel like I'm being jabbed in the chin. I haven't put my phone in the pocket while running because they are loose and would bounce around but that means there is plenty of room for my gloves when my hands get too warm!

It is now my "go to" jacket whenever i leave the house. It's perfect for March temperatures in Michigan. Soft, warm enough, and appears fitted, yet roomy enough to wear over sweaters or sweatshirts. I ordered a small, thinking i would wear it running, and almost returned it because it was a little too big for that, but then realized it would make a great jacket for everyday outer wear. And i have literally worn it everyday, any time i left the house, since i recieved it in the mail.

I'm 5"11 slender build. This jacket is not only fashionable, the texture is soft, warm, great colors and it fits my long arms.
I bought 2 of them, size small

Love this jacket - it is much warmer than I expected! I was comfortable in 25-35 degrees F with only 1 thin layer underneath. The quilted pattern is very attractive.
I recommend washing the jacket by itself, at least for the first time. I am not sure if there was a coating on the fabric, but I followed the care instructions (cold water) and washed it with other clothes. The entire load smelled afterwards. I hung the jacket to dry and the scent dissipated, and it came out of the other clothes after another rinse cycle.

I took this jacket for a run in the low 30s temps and a very warm Southwest sun. I was very comfortable. I got a small, my usual size, and it fit nicely. I am excited to keep using and testing it. As some other reviewers noted, I do wish the Storm Blue colors were as depicted in one of the advertising images - with darker blue on the bottom. This would make the appearance a bit better. Maybe this is something to consider for the design team.

I had been watching this jacket for awhile. When I saw it go on sale...I jumped right away, Very glad I did! Not only is it great at keeping me warm during a winter run in the midwest it is adorable! Love that it has a full zipper and grips for your thumbs. Would definitely recommend! Runs pretty true to size. I am 5'6 115 lbs and bought an XS. Fits close but not so tight I can't move.

I'm keeping this even though it's tight, as I've been losing weight over the last few months, but disappointed with the sizing. I normally wear women's XL. Ordered 2XL, still too small!

I wore this lovely jacket on a 5 mile run on a windy 23 degree morning. It kept me perfectly warm! The material feels a little heavy so I wondered how many layers I would need underneath. For me, two layers worked fine - one sleeveless and one long sleeve - both performance wear. I decided on the garnet color after another reviewer mentioned that the picture on the website didn't do it justice. She was right. It's a gorgeous garnet/crimson. I run with a group and got several compliments. One drawback is it has no interior pockets, just a pocket on each side. But they are deep enough for phone, keys, gloves etc. If you want to look great on a cold day get this jacket - whether you run or not!

Perfect fitted jacket for winter running. I can comfortably fit a sweatshirt underneath and ordered size small. Wisconsin running.

This is my new favorite jacket! The jacket is thicker than fleece, but yet is lightweight, and it keeps me warm in colder weather. It is a very nice quality product. I ordered the navy blue, have washed it several times and it has held up well; no pilling or loose threads for example.

I purchased this jacket because I didn't have a casual jacket. It is warm and comfortable. I purchased a 2XL and thought it was going to be too small, but it was perfect! Thanks New Balance.

I bought it in the blue and it's been very comfy and warm. I think it does run slightly larger than I expected but since I layer, it works well. The sleeves are somewhat longer than needed. Overall, I Love it.

I get compliments on this jacket, AND it's my priority for laundry day. BUT exactly where the pocket is, it's just 2 thin pieces of fabric vs. the rest of the jacket, I always end up with a very cold stomach.

Bought as a gift for my wife. She loved everything about it, but the fit was too big/baggy.

Fabric isn't the greatestkind of scratchy. A little roomier than expected. Hoping it softens up with washing.

I bought the claret with red trim. I love the colors. I wore it on a 14 degree day. With two wicking shirts, I was very comfortable. I assume it would not work in wet snow or rain. It needs reflective areas. The areas where the red tape is located would be good. It almost fits like a sweater - very soft. I am glad it bought it. I will wear it on cold clear days.
