I initially purchased my exact size , but the fit was too big. I exchanged for a half-size smaller the the fit is spot on. The black suede is a great shade and will go well with both my work clothes and jeans.

Fits a little big, I’m a 10 in sneakers, got a 9.5 and it’s perfect. Very dark, believe it or not. My feet are now a void. Empty of all light and color. Take that as you will.

EXTREMELY comfortable all the way around. Width and length a are perfection. Walkable and no break-in needed from the moment I put them on. Womens size perform standard conversion to men's and dropped a half size. Men's width fit better. Very pleased with purchase.

These Chelsea boots look great and fit me comfortably right out of the box.

Bought them for my husband. They fit real nice, look good & are easy to get on. He is very happy with them.

These look good with slimmer fitting pants - The newer Chelsea styles have a more prominent lug & look more rugged. These look good and have plenty of sole to keep water away.

Nice looking pair of boots. I usually have trouble with slip on shoes/boots as I have high arches, but these ones slipped on easily. The elasticated sides help give a snug fit. As others have noted, these boots seem to run about a half size too big. Luckily, Clarks makes half sizes so I was able to get a pair that fit by sizing down.

I think I have "average" feet, but these run very wide per length, so have a broader "footprint" than other Chelsea boots I have. For comparison, these all have the same heel-to-toe length: Shoe the Bear Eli (size 43), Ecco Vitrus II (size 42), Rockport Toloni (size 42.5), Rockport Total Motion Dressport (size 4.5). However, in terms of width: the European brands (Ecco, Shoe the Bear) run narrow - tight, but tolerable; the Rockports fit well width-wise; the Clarks were widest, and loose. The struggle is to have a shoe with the right proportions, leaving room in the toe box but fitting snugly through the midfoot and arch. The European brands, though tight through the midfoot, have the most stylish proportions – a sleeker, longer appearance. The Rockports, slightly wider to length, strike a balance in proportions, and are the best fit. The Clarks have the broadest proportions; my foot could move a bit side-to-side and, with a relatively less pointy toe, the toe box opened up too much. Sizing down to US size 9 in the same medium width would preserve the proportions – but this would trade fit on the width for a cramped toe box. And, finally, going down to a US size 9 in wide width would worsen the already wide proportions. The lack of a right size "sweet spot" is a shame, because these are much better quality boots than the Rockports at a similar price point. The leather is thicker, there is a nice padded collar (absent in the other boots mentioned above, and uncommon in Chelsea boots), and a more substantial sole and heel. Aside from being loose, they felt comfortable in my test fitting. A very handsome boot which I would highly recommend – IF you have WIDE feet. And if you do, get your normal size but in Medium width!

At least 1/2 to 1 full size larger than my normal size. Also wider than usual. Quality was ok but not great. Returned because of being too large and did not order another pair because the materials were so-so.

I tried two different Clark Chelsea boots and they were sized really weird. Not a good fit.
