To tight on foot not meant for wide food people

While unboxing the shoes, a quarter sized spot of glue was on the top of the left shoe near the front. No way was this missed by quality control. I am certain they were only sold to me because I purchased them online. I needed the shoes for a vacation so I kept them and did not return. In the future, I will just return them. I feel like New Balance purposely sent these shoes with the easily visible defect.

These shoes fit true to size and they look good, but as with other NB Numerics I've worn, the toe box, specifically near the joints of my big toe, is too tight. As the shoe flexes, it bites into the joint. I can barely walk in these, much less skate in them. Really disappointing given that I wear a lot of NB lifestyle shoes that are super comfortable. Unfortunately, this is my last NB skate shoe purchase until they can get this right.

I have 2 pairs of the black 272's in 12 Wide and they definitely feel wide. I've now tried 2 other pairs in different colorways of the same shoe, same 12 Wide size and they are not even close to the same width in the toe box. They fit extremely narrow in the toe box just like Vans now. Very disappointing that the Wide in the 272 is no longer Wide at all.

If you have a high instep and 4” foot width….hard pass on 2E WIDE!!! Could not even get my foot in with thin socks. Wanted for deadlift and would need at least 4E. Sad that shoe widths are far from standard.

Love the pattern of the shoes, bought them for my brother. He's regularly a 10.5, these shoes were almost 2 sizes too big. Therefore these shoes run extremely big. Very unhappy with this purchase.

Sizing is almost 1.5 lengths off. Too large and cheap material. New Balance has zero consistency or quality control.

No idea if these shoes are any good or not. I literally almost couldn't fit my foot in it even with the laces completely loose. New Balance is known for wide sizes yet none of their skateboard nor golf shoes are available to me. If I wanna walk around at the mall I can get wide shoes but if I want to do demanding sports then I'm out of luck.

I ordered my regular shoe size (9). This shoe fit awfully. It had the width of a 8.5-9 but the length fit like it was a 10 or 11. They were huge. Never have seen a 9 fit like this. I don't recommend.

When I received the shoes and took them out of the box they had a big white mark of the shoe.
