Customer Reviews PUMA Velocity Nitro

I ordered the Velocity Nitro Men's 25cm (US7) in Castlerock. Comparing this insole to my other 25cm shoes it runs a little long. I also ordered the Velocity Nitro with the SP upper and found this standard upper has a restrictive toebox area while the SP version is less constraining and comfortable right out of the box. The midsole thins out under the forefoot more than I would like, it reminds me of the New Balance 1080. Despite having similar specs I find Asics' Novablast to keep more under the toes. I wouldn't want to do runs longer than 10 - 15k in this shoe.

Been on a couple of runs with these already and they felt bouncy and more than light enough. Looking forward to keeping it going.

These shoes fit very well. Happy with my first Puma running shoe. Very comfortable. Note: I am an 11.5 and had to get a size 12. Highly recommend this shoe.

I don't have any of the issues that this other reviewer has! I just got these fresh out of the box on sale for $65!!! This price on Zappo is worth every penny though. I took this shoe out for my 5 miler this morning. It looks and feels great! If you check YouTube, you will find all kinds of praise for this shoe. I know I have only done one run it in but this is a winner on 1st run for a lightweight versatile daily trainer.

When I walk in these shoes they feel like I’m on a little trampoline. The shoe is very narrow. Overall, I like them.

I have a problem buying shoes and these shoes are OK for me to wear. The design and look are great. I would like more cushioning in the sole of the shoe, but I do recommend the shoe.
