Looks like these will not be shredding at the knees and rear. Glad to have found these.

I havent yet tested them for durability over a long stretch of time, but it seems they will hold up well. What a relief to find work wear for a rugged outdoor job. Plus the fit is exceptional.

My new favorite pants!!! Had a issue/defect with stitch along buttons busting open after only a month of wear. Emailed them and had a new pair shipped out that day!

Great pants, though the little pocket on the front right is pretty useless. I tried in two different sizes, 8 and 6, both 32" length (which is generally plenty long for me), and while the 8 were long enough, the 6 seemed to be considerably shorter.

Normally, wear size 6-8 but went with size 10 after reading all reviews on style,type of fabric and shrinkage. I need to wear these on a daily basis so washing in cold water or eco-warm and drying in the dryer on low heat works. I can also wear leggings under these pants if it is freezing weather. I have a small farm and our weather will be extreme in several seasons (freezing rain, bitter wind, ice,snow and lots of mud). As an added note, I am a 68 year old woman caring for a spouse with heavy health challenges. My health is good and I have always been very active (so fortunate). I add this so any woman of any age or lifestyle will know Dovetail workwear is the ultimate choice. You can also wear these for any event if you pair them with a dressier shirt and boots. I plan on doing this and will have plenty of opportunity to do so. Thank you Dovetail!

In full disclosure I am a straight male who is tall & skinny & has a hard time finding mens jeans that fit. I dont care for a slim cut in mens & the regular are way too baggy in my thighs so I thought Id give these a try. My waist size is a 30 & being male dont really have hips so I went down a size based on the size chart & with this style having minimal stretch so they wouldnt be baggy in my hips . I got a size 6 in the 34 length. They fit great, not too baggy/loose in my thighs & the women at my work have complemented they like them & like all the pockets & their placement, They have no idea their womens jeans. Ive had mens carharts utility jeans & overalls before & the pocket placements are terrible & way too big as well but these are perfect.

Love these. They fit perfectly, are durable without being bulky and have just the right amount of stretch.

So many waistbands gap terribly for me. Not these. Crouching down on the floor is comfortable. And all those pockets! I really really like these pants. The only thing I might consider changing is the phone pocket is over a zipper pocket and I'm worried the high quality metal zipper might scratch my screen.

I'll start with the fact that I decided to keep these pants. They look good, fit good and the color is nice. However, I will not be ordering any more of this style. The pocket set up makes no sense! You put a strap for hammers over a pocket. If I'm not careful whatever I'm putting in that pocket goes straight to the floor. Another pocket that I'm used to using for keys is just non-existent. Also, pocket with a zipper should not be where you would sit on it. All that being said I love your company and most of the products I have purchased.

Love the color and all the pockets. Will last a long time.

I tried the Day Construct, Britt Utility, and Maven X at the same time and this Day Construct (and the Britt) did not have good coverage on a squat and bend test. The rise is just too low, so I will be returning them.

Its never been fun for me to buy pants. I have long legs and slim, so usually if I can find the length they are to large in hips and waist. If they fit in the hips and waist, then they are to short. This is my first pair of Dovetail Workwear and Im thrilled. The fit is perfect on my first try! My Day Construct not only fit perfectly, but they are so super comfortable. I see additional orders in my future Time to get dirty!

Love these and Im not even using them to work in, just wearing them as pants. But I could and might do yard work wearing them. Now its colder weather, and so comfy. The right room in the right spots, I wish there were more colors!

Great to work in

Well, small compared to their other products anyway, they're the same fit as their other pants (which all run way smaller). I have a pair of their overalls in an 18 that fit perfectly but when I ordered an 18 and a 20 in this one to be sure, neither fit so if you fit in their overalls, maybe order a size or two up. Still, they're very nice and I'll be ordering a 22 (or I guess a 24 if they're too small too)
