I usually wear a 20 or 22 in women's pants but couldn't get these size 22 to button up. I have sent the item back.

Fit is good, functionality is superb

They are too wide legged in the thigh area and I would like to return them.

The downside of purchasing online is that if I tried them in person these would be perfect. They'd be 5 star if the sizes were predictable. Thermal Utilities were big at size 10 but not as loose as Day Constructions at 8. Love the canvas. (More no-stretch pants please!) Delighted to find snaps on the back pockets too. Velcro would have been disappointing. Thanks for making them so well!

They look beautiful and well constructed. Unfortunately, I sized up to a 2 per the recommendation and they are too big. Now, I am hoping for a restock of the 0 to exchange them before my return window closes. I am disappointed I have not been able to really experience them yet. I think I would have done well with my normal size.

Great fit. Main pockets a little shallow and change falls out when sitting. Sure wish they came in other colors (tan/ lighter brown/blue??) otherwise awesome

Incredible detail to every pocket, seam, zipper, etc. They fit SO well, and the material is sturdy, yet it gives and is comfortable. These pants will last for years and years! I really like them. Impressed!

I took advantage of the sale and finally ordered the navy Day Construct Ripstop pants. I have them in moss green and they are my favorite pants to wear working outside. I also own the dark brown in canvas for the colder weather. I love everything about these pants-the comfort, the pockets, the fit and the quality. FYI the contrast stitching on the navy pants is light blue which looks better than the white that I thought it was from the photos. Im 56, 120 lbs and I wear size 2 in the ripstop and size 4 in the canvas. The 32 inseam on the ripstop is a little short for me so I ordered the 34in the navy and while slightly long I prefer that to short.

I should have gotten a smaller size than usual.

Comfortable, functional

This is my first Dovetail purchase and was unfamiliar with the sizing and the pants are a bit big for me. But I didnt want to give them up to return so I bought a belt!

Im obsessed with these pants. I only wear dovetail at work and these are by far my favorites. The flare covers my work boots for added protection and they soften up the first time you wear them. Pockets galore! I can bend comfortably and wear them without being uncomfortable after my 10hr shift.

I am so happy that this company and these pants exist! They fit perfectly for my short, curvy stature. It is SO nice to have such quality pants made for someone who is 5'2! They have a great weight to them and they are very durable. The color is beautiful and I couldn't be happier. This is a great investment to your work wardrobe!

This good pair of pants I just think I mightve picked the wrong size because they were a little bit too baggy for me.

I love my two pair of Day Construct Brown Canvas pants, I love everything about them including the fact that the mud just brushes off the knees! I gave a pair to a friend and she loves them too. I will definitely be ordering another pair soon.

I found these pants at a local Trading Post and what caught my eye was the weight of the fabric. I was looking for a heavier fabric that would withstand the cold as well as hot and was sturdy but can be worn on the dresser side. Tried these on and I fell in love. They fit my short legs, wide thighs and calfs perfect without bunching up anywhere. I can stand when my pants crawl into my behind. I purchased them immediately even in a length that was too long. I ended up taking a chance and purchasing a shorter pair online in the right length. They fit was the same as the longer length. I ended up wearing them to an event that night that was more on the dressier side. They looked perfect w/a good pair of boots and cape. The next day, I was back to work in the landscaping business with these pants. I cant say enough about the fit and quality except perfect. Thank you for a job well done.

I love them..they feel good and I got compliments on them...I have gained weight since I ordered them so they fit a little snug,so next time I will order a size up,lol

Runs small

I do not work with my hands for a living, but I appreciate quality, durability and thoughtful design. These pants have it all. These are the first Dovetail pants I've owned as I just recently found out about this company. I'm so impressed that it's owned by women for working women. The color of these pants is beautiful and so subtle. The materials is heavy and durable but very comfortable. The fit is perfect. And I love the fact that this company has realistic models of all sizes and shapes and not plastered with makeup. I will be buying more from Dovetail.

I normally wear a 14-16 in womens jeans and the 16 is too small I bought an 18 of another style of Dovetail pants that fit just fine so I will be returning these for the 18

Love these pants. Comfortable and fit well.

Love these. I use them for casual wear to work and play. I am looking forward to cooler temperatures to come back to wear again.

I love these pants! They are so flattering, not to mention super functional with all the pockets and double knees. All Ive got to say is Adios carhartt!!!! These are definitely fit for the female body. Did I mention that I love them?!?
