These are good boots, but were big. I even put in a ¼ inch thick felt liner and with a ski sock- too big (normally I'm 8.5 womens, 9 boots, wide foot/narrow heel) and was getting an unacceptable amount of slipping around. Also, they are troublesome to lace up, the laces are slippery so don't stay put making it hard to tighten them down enough for walking in snow (intended use). For my use they just weren't working. However: ++ for warmth, and ++ for water proof. If you want a boot to trudge around in the snow and don't mind the laces- yes. They would be good boots for a person with a wider calf who needs that adjustability and is worried about a tight fit. This is a roomy boot.

These feel like space boots! They are so big and clunky, not to mention HEAVY! They were awkward to walk in and I struggled to pick them all the way up with each step, which left me dragging my feet along. I wanted to love them, but back they go!

Cute and stylish. I like the tread which is beefier than many other boots I've tried. I also like the height a bit over half-way to my knee. A bit squeezy in the toe box with thick socks, but I could've lived with it if other things didn't concern me. I'm unsure the fabric upper is really waterproof. Maybe it is; I haven't tested it. The rubber lower will definitely keep moisture out. The boots are lightweight not really clunky, they're just too flat and unsupportive for me. Also note there are only 5 lacing points which means the fit can't really be adjusted a whole lot. Walking back and forth in my house, I noticed that the back of the boot started to buckle exactly where the suede meets the fabric upper which I know would bother me. Overall, not the worst I've tried (and there are many), but I didn't love them for the price. Returned.

I always put in my own high arch insoles, and they fit perfectly. The laces do take time to tie up perfectly, but once you’re done, the boot is very secure. Very waterproof. This is my third pair of Kamik and I’ll keep buying them again and again. Maine winters are long and I trudge around a lot!

I followed reviews and sized down 1/2 size and I was happy with the length. I do have bigger calves, and I felt the fit at my calves was great. My big complaint is that my foot never felt secure in the boot; my heel kept slipping up out of place while walking-just a little more than I like, despite meticulously adjusting the laces. I did not get to experience them in the cold, so I’m not sure how warm they truly are. Overall I think they are really cute and seem pretty robust, but the fit was a little off.

Difficult to put on if you don't want to relace every time.

I got these in size 11 for Christmas. I had 2 other pairs of Kamik boots in size 11 and one pair even feels a bit short, plus Zappos recommended size 11. Though most of my other shoes and boots are size 10 or sometimes 9.5. The size 11 were too big so I order size 10. I think they were still too big because my heel was sleeping. I'm not certain a smaller size would have fit and they didn't feel that supportive or comfortable in the foot, so I just gave up. They look nice, but also felt a bit bulky and clunky. They are very much a snow boot, so if you live somewhere snowy, bulky and clunky is the order of the day during winter. I wanted a proper snow boot for the occasional snow we get and possible travel, but since these didn't fit and they had the added strike of feeling a bit clunky and not too supportive, I returned them and I'll continue looking. One nice thing is the very reasonable price tag, compared to some other snow boots, and the fur cuff was very soft! In general, they seem like a fairly nice boot, especially for the money. They just didn't work out for me.

I rated this one star because this pair wasn’t comfortable. ordered these in black. Really liked them. Fit great. but I decided I’d rather have brown. Easiest return of any product I’ve ever had to send back. The brown boots came the very next day…..Without the left insole. Seriously? Kamik needs to check products before sending them out. Now Zappos are out of stock (likely cuz the boot is great and adorable in brown) and I can’t get another before my trip. Not likely Zappos fault, unless I got a return no one checked. Kamik needs quality control. (The black pair were very comfortable)
