I am super sad with this purchase. My podiatrist recommended these and I even went to a New Balance store nearby to measure my foot before ordering. I wore them around the house the first day and then to work for a few days. They felt great! The following week I was working in the kitchen and they got wet, now they feel way too small. I think the leather shrunk.

Once again a shoe mfg has started narrowing the toe box on their shoes. This is the second time it has happened and I am scrambling to find a replacement for my worn out shoes. If they would just provide a little more space there instead of cutting it short it would be perfect.

I wear a medium width and have never put on a shoe in the same size that felt as tight as this one. The seam that divides the toe box and laces is exceedingly tight. The shoe is very stiff as well. Unfortunately, I will need to return these.

It is hard for me to rate these shoes using the star system. My issue may be unique. I normally wear size 6.5W. That size works for me across a few brands. The New Balance running shoe fits me well across the lower part of my foot, where normal widths would be too tight. The arch support and length are correct. However, the heal of the shoe is too wide and slips. No adjustment to lacing helps this problem. Neither does wearing thicker socks. I am returning this shoe and I'll avoid this brand in the future. I'm going to stick to Hoka One One. They fit my feet perfectly, but they are more expensive and that's why I gave this shoe a try.

New Balance WID626v2. Fit in 7EE is too shallow for me and heel too narrow to accommodate my orthotic. I've been wearing 7 Brooks Addiction Walker EE width for at least past 10 years and looking for new walking shoe, when Brooks shortsightedly discontinued original for Addiction Walker 2, which in their redesign doesn't fit my foot as well. I may try this NB is 7.5 EE but likely it's the style not the sizing.

These shoes were stiff and incredibly squeaky! The leather was hard and the footbed stiff as a board. Not comfortable at all. And LOUD!

Hurts in the toe box area it causes excruciating pain. Did not break in overtime. Miserable experience.

The shoes are hard. Not good for walking. I'm a delivery driver. Need more support and comfort

I ordered a size 12 wide, it feels more like a size 11 slim. Crushed my toes.
