I bought a pair of these just like the previous 3 pair I bought and wherever made them put in a bad toe metal in them. It was way too low hitting/rubbing the top of my toe. Making these impossible to wear. I waited and waited on my replacement pair, but they never came, even after sending these back. They even said I had to pay to send them back even though they were flawed. I have been an avid new balance user for a long time, but now, I am rethinking about that. Bad enough they got rid of my most favorite mw642's, now this. I still have yet to be refunded and its been weeks. I will be doing a chargeback on my credit card. That will get their attention.

My husband says these are the most comfortable shoes he owns and he wears them all the time. We hesitated to order because of the steel toe but are glad we did. The toe box is very roomy.

Purchased 3 years ago used 12 hours a day still in great condition, truly waterproof and very comfortable. If they had my size I would buy again.

Excellent For work

Got the x wide for my AFO/brace. It fits nicely with enough room and comfort for my foot. It's a work shoe that works well for me.

I use these for working on the farm, tired of boots. The steel toes allow you to feel safer around Horses.

I have purchased these a few times. I put them through rigorous wear and tear...and they hold up well. These shoes are by far my favorite work shoes.

I work on the line in a commercial aircraft industry. These shoes are comfortable and look like they are built to put up with the line environment. I've worn them now for a couple of weeks and I have no complaints.

Size availability was wonderful. The style of the work shoe did not have the appearance of being anything but a pair of sneakers. The shipping time was good.

I use these shoes at work, because I am required to wear steel toed shoes. I have owned quite a few pairs of boots and shoes over the years And I must say that the 627 model of steel toed shoes from New Balance are without a doubt are the most comfortable pair of work shoes I have ever had on my feet and that saying something because I have work in an industry that requires safety shoes since 1990.

I use this product for work. It's steel toed so that's good if you should drop something on your feet. It's a little tight on my toes in one shoe but not enough to bother me and maybe I'm just breaking it in.

I wear these every day. Fit my big-wide feet perfectly!

As a shoe, definitely works as described/intended.
