After wearing these shoes for a week. My feet feel 100% better than they did before. I went with the Wide version. I would recommend these to anyone.

I walk several miles a day at work(I walk and stand for eight hours), and these have never caused me discomfort. My current pair has lasted a year and half, and have recently begun showing wear(tears and fabric fraying. The frame of the shoe is still rock solid), though they will likely remain functional for another year. I ordered a half size larger than I wear in most shoes and it fits perfectly. The laces stay tied. I will wear these shoes until they are no longer available.

NB allows puts out a top quality product, and once again they did not disappoint. My only wish is that they also sell replacement shoe laces, since theirs beat the national brands hands down for endurance, and stay-tied quality.

I work 12 hr shifts. I added Orthofeet inserts to make perhaps the most comfortable work shoes ever. The combination is so good I purchased a second pair of shoes and inserts.

I work 10 to 12 hr shifts on an industrial site. These work great all around for the long periods and are comfy and light. Not having to remove them for the metal detectors is also a plus

I like to hike with my 589's. The composite toe protects my toes from rocks and roots that are often found on the trails. The styling is good so that I can wear them in any casual gathering as well.

I needed safety toe shoes for new employment. Very difficult to find stock locally. I tried 8 different shoes from the leading brands. Comfort and quality were my biggest concerns for old feet. New Balance was my #1 choice of the bunch. Usually wear a size 12 but felt I needed more toe space, so I went with the size 13's. Wish you made it in a 12 1/2, would've fit ideally. Some of the other brands had zero comfort in their athletic safety shoes. I always wonder how products that are sooooooo uncomfortable make it to market. Maybe the designers should wear them before they flood the market with junk. Keep up the good work New Balance!

I work with landscaping materials and power tools, and these shoes can take quite a beating. Materials do drop from time to time, but these shoes keep me well-protected. Not only that, but they are incredibly comfortable.

At work 10 hours a day five days a week sometimes on Saturday.

These are my second pair. The only thing is the inside of the heel wears out I have inserts in them but they are light weight and I don't think I'm gonna change work shoes
