The safety shose is oversize

They feel amazing and true to size all the way till their done.

The only work shoe I will wear.

Finally! After 2 years of torture my feet are not screaming for 10 hours a day picking on a warehouse concrete floor! I am female and have purchased 5 pairs of women's shoes, size 8 1/2 wide. Wide was never wide enough and always pressing on the sides of my big toes causing numbness and on the side of my little toenails, causing damage to them. Size 9 was too big and slid up and down on the heels. I spent 20 minutes each morning trying to get my feet protected against my shoes each day. I used all kinds of tape, cardboard sometimes, moleskin, special socks and of course good insoles. I bet I have had 30 pairs of Zappos shoes sent to me to try, and send back. All of these shoes seemed to have some sort of odd lumps in the toe area, have tongues that were uncomfortable or some other problem. The biggest problem was the toe crowding and pulling the toes together no matter how large the toe box appeared to be. I do not have freakishly wide feet, just normal human feet where the toes do not like to be crowded. I finally started trying men's shoes and after a couple of tries I found these New Balance shoe. No lumps inside, they are smooth! The tongue lays flat and comfortable! They have the double shoelace holes at the top so that you can tie a runner's lace lock so that your foot will not slide forward! These are heavy but in a comfortable solid way which does not bother me at all. They don't have much of an arch support but I slid in my Powersteps right on top of the included insole and they work great. I am finally as comfortable as I think I can be after 2 years. Like I said, I am an 8 1/2 women's but purchased a men's size 8 4E width and it is great! My toes have feeling again and my little toenails are starting to grow back. Finally, a pair of shoes that I can recommend!

Had to re-order a half size bigger but the new size is great. Very comfortable, wear them all day at work.

Bought these for my husband. He seems to like them. He’s a machinist and needs steel toe for protection.

These shoes are great if you have wide feet. If you have other foot and ankle issues you’ll need to pair them with the right insoles and ankle support. This was my second pair and I’m glad they are working out.

Honestly I've never had or even heard of a steel toe shoe that not only does every function more than expected a fat as safety but I swear I've been wearing these shoes on and off the job line they're just regular new balance subs in out them on! Work shoes that don't hurt is a new thing for me and I'm just very surprised and super happy with this work shoe!

Size and fit is ok but haven’t had chance to wear to see how they fit exactly
