I think these are the best fitting shies I’ve ever had right out of the box!

I expected this to be wider but the fit is quite acceptable. Because these are Steel Toe, if the with of the toe area is too narrow, it causes blisters on the toes.

The best thing about these shoes is that they look like sneakers, but they are heavy duty. The worst part is they come with very thin insoles and no arch support. I had to replace the ones it came with with orthotic insoles, plus extra heel padding on top of that.

So far after wearing them seems like pretty sturdy shoes, tread is good. I wear no-show socks and the back is a bit high so it digs into the skin over my tendon. Also theyre a bit heavy, esp' compared to the new balance i was wearing.

My only complaint about this shoe is the insole. I was expecting a bit more cushion and arch. I would still rate this shoe above the average in the insole/arch support category. Luckily I got some insoles with a lil more moderate arch support. If you are an Amazon Associate, these are above average in styles available. Go with an added insole with even more cushion and arch support.

It was a half size small I wish I knew they ran small

I think I'll be able to wear them for short periods of time. The composite toes may wear my socks out in the toes. They fit but a half size large in length may have been better because of the composite toes in the shoes. The shoes fit but I worry over time the toe might be a problem. I have a history of safety shoes not working well on my feet. I hope to report more after wearing them for a while so I will not be returning them because they are true to size.

So, I work 11 hour shifts at Amazon. Shoe comfort is very important when you spend that much time on your feet. While not a fan of steel toe or composite toe shoes (never bought any before), these actually work. I've always liked New Balance for their comfort and fit. I need 4E width, so they can be hard to get. These work very well. It took about 2 weeks to get them broken in properly. I'd wear them for 1 full shift and then go back to my previous shoes the next day. I'd also wear them for several hours away from the job just to get accustomed to them. After about 2 weeks of this, I now wear them full time for my 4 consecutive 11 hour shifts.

Shoe weight to heavy

Finally a pair of safety shoes with enough room in the toe box!!! No rubbing or chafing and no blisters. The only issue is that the included insoles have zero arch support nor much cushion and the sole/foundation of the shoes could stand to be cushioned more. I replaced the insoles with high quality sport/walking pair and they made a huge difference. Excellent traction, truly non-marking.

The extra wide is not as extra as expected. Fit fairly well and will need, as any shoe, some breaking in time.

right out of the box they fit well, seemed like normal sizing, maybe even slightly large than my new balance running shoes. however on the 4th day of wear I developed some blistering in each big toe. It was very hot weather so I assume my feet swelled a little and were damp from sweating so much. will try them again next week.

The shoe fits comfortably for a work shoe. I had to size up to a Wide shoe. The regular size would squeeze and numb my toes. Took 3 tries but I found a comfortable fit.

I generally can only wear Red Wings. But, as of now these are decently comfortable. Probably need gel insoles for these. But, generally a nice fitting shoe.

If you get these shoes, you WILL need to get inserts to put in them. The shoes have little to no cushion. Once I got the inserts, excellent shoes.
