As usual with Steve Madden: worst sizing ever! I usually wear a size 8.5. I ordered these in three colors, all in a size 9.5 because most reviewers said they run small and they were not lying. And most confusingly: the taupe and off-white ones fit perfectly, but I could not even get past the first braided strap in the black ones! The material seems to be a lot more stiff in that color as well. Will be returning them in black, but the other two colors are absolutely beautiful and seem comfortable.

This is a beautiful shoe. Sadly my instep is a little wider than average so the were too tight in this area and I need to return. For someone with a slimmer foot, these shoes would be amazing.

I love these shoes!!! I normally would wear a 7 in heels but, ended up ordering a 8 do to the reviews. So glad I did because, these shoes fit perfect.

I think these are so cute for summer and I love the taupe as a neutral that’s not white or black. It is a darker taupe than I expected- but it still works. They’re reasonably comfortable for a high heel and the woven straps are pretty cushy.

Super cute. But exceeds my height limit. Comfortable on pinky toe, which was surprising. Just too high for me.

Bottom strap is not stretch and does not stretch. Went up a size and still small.

So I wanted to love these shoes so much. I ordered a half size larger first then I exchanged for a full size larger. But the top strap won’t let my foot come any lower to fit better into the front strap. You can barely see my toes. They are comfy. If you have narrow feet these will probably work for you. On the half size up you couldn’t find see my toes at all. I didn’t take pics of those. Pics are of full size up.

Bought these in Taupe. Visually, these are really cute. But the straps are not leather and they don't give and were way too snug. Also wish they were a solid half inch shorter. A size 10 measure 5 inches end to end at the back of the heel.

Definitely made for a narrow foot. Didn't work for a medium foot.

I always wear a size 8 in dress shoes, and I could barely stuff my feet into these. They are VERY narrow, and my heel hung off the back.

Extremely tight fit. You would need to go up 2 shoes sizes to get your foot in this heel.

I don't know what went wrong with this model in black. I ordered these in three colors and ordered them a full size up (usually wear 8.5, ordered 9.5). The other two colors fit perfectly while I could not even get past the first braided strap in the black pair. Material felt different as well. Will be returning.
