I usually wear a 9, sometimes an 8.5 (e.g.,Salomon). I also wear Narrow. I ordered this in a 10, because I heard they ran small, and they were a bit short and the toe box was very narrow. They are stiff at the ankle, which I did not like, though they may have broken in over time.

Fits small and for narrow feet...they they don't stretch out after wearing them...Definitely don't keep your feet warm- NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY

I was super excited for this boot because it's super cute and was what I thought I was looking for for a casual winter boot but I went up a half size and it still pinched my toes too much.

This style is very narrow!!!! I usually wear a six and got a seven. They are still very narrow. I wish I had gotten a 7.5 but even then probably this style isn't for me.

I sized down but they were still too small. Hard to comment on other aspects since I could barely get my foot inside. Returned.

That's the cutest looking boots! However even if at first sight they feel like comfortable, after half an hour walking around they felt like a torture device! Pressure on my feet at many spots I wanted them to work though.

This shoe runs extremely narrow. I really really wanted it to work because it looks so casual. I sized up 1 whole size but they were just too narrow it hurt my foot. I went in store and tried on the men's, which was wider, but they didn't have the size I wanted so I returned and passed on these shoes.

I really want to love these! They are super cute and cozy, but the inside rubs on my ankles. I don't think I can keep them for that reason.

I am simply not a fan of these shoes. I wear an 8. Ordered an 8.5. Had to exchange for a 9... they feel and look huge on my feet. I also hate how hot they make my feet. There's are not wear to work kind of shoes. Haha. I wish I could return!

I bought a whole size up from my usual size, and even with regular socks the boots were way too tight, and the toe box narrow. Disappointed and will have to return these.

I really wish these shoes would have worked out. Love the style, definitely waterproof. BUT they do not keep the cold out. My feet were FROZEN the entire time I wore them, even with wool socks. Had to purchase toe warmers for shoes mid-vacation to get me through.
Also, size up - I wear a 6 and I purchased a 7.

These boots are cute and just what I wanted for casual walks this winter. The sole is lightweight and flexible, unlike hiking or snow boots. Unfortunately, I have to return them because although I bought a full size larger than I normally wear, they are way too snug even with lightweight socks. Like other reviewers have pointed out, the tongue is attached to the boot at the sides so you are unable to pull it all the way forward to put on the boot. It was somewhat awkward but because I went up a full size, I could get my foot in easily. The problem is that the seam/joint where the tongue is attached produces a hard knot which rubs against my ankle bone. No amount of breaking in will fix that. Fortunately The North Face makes returns simple.

the way they attach the tongue, it rubs on my ankle and is uncomfortable. So returned it.

I could not get my sz 9 foot into this sz 9 shoe. It appeared small overall, and I didn't love the look of it enough to order a larger size.
Fabric ("leather") also seemed cheap.
I'd also recommend:
none yet. still looking for support and comfort

No insulation. Tried wearing in Central Europe in late November; feet froze with wool socks from REI. Toes on right foot became wet, but couldn’t find where wet was coming from. Very uncomfortable; hard foot pad. Very disappointed with North Face. Relied on their description.

Purchased to take to Central Europe for visit in November for walking in snow, sleet, rain. Forget insulation; there isn’t any and as for comfort they are stiff and the foot pad is rock hard. At one point, toes on right foot became wet; can’t see where leak is, but it’s there. Will be returning upon return home this week.

The tongue is stitched to the sides of the boot. I couldn't get my foot in the boot. I always buy the same size w/o issue. Poor design.

Not for winter weather. We got our first little bit of snow in nyc (literally under 2 inches,
No real ice) and I've fallen hard twice in 24 hours- on the stairs and on the sidewalk. No traction or grip.

Boots were way too snug. I would recommend you size up. Look elsewhere if you wear a larger size like me. It's a shame because these are one of the more stylish winter boots on the market :(
