Great, warm, lightweight coat. I'm usually a large in Colombia items but I decided to go with an XL for this in case I want to layer up underneath. I especially enjoy the lining around the collar and in the hood, but wish the pockets were lined with the same material.

This coat is great. It's thin but it keeps you warm. You can layer up with it not to much which is great. It's not like wearing a comforter. You feel unrestricted and can move around with ease. It keeps you nice and toasty.

So warm to be so light! Also the Golden lining adds a luxurious touch!

I had a Northface parka last winter and it was just too heavy and bulky for me. I was worried that this wouldn't be warm enough! However, I love it! It stays so warm and I love the weight of it! It looks very slimming on which is not something I have typically got with a winter coat and the color is perfect. I typically wear a medium in sweatshirts and sized up to a large so I could wear a sweatshirt underneath and it's perfect! I also love the arms with the hole for your thumb! I can't say enough good things about it! Highly recommend!

Cute, warm and comfy. Flattering feminine shape. Love the built-in hand warmers. I just wish it was a little longer.

I was going to return this coat, because I found that I did not need it, but I like it so much that I decided to keep it. The only thing that makes it less than 100% perfect is that it is water resistant, not waterproof. It is very light-weight, making it extremely comfortable and easy to use while traveling; and it's quite warm. It is very attractive.

I was surprised by how light weight this coat is; yet it is very warm. Great length, nice fit. Has an inside pocket. Beautiful color. Only thing less than perfect is that the hood is not removable, but that is a very small consideration to me.

I love the weight of this coat. It's light and warm enough for most winter days here in Philadelphia. The thumb holes are warm and comfortable. The hat and pockets are lined with warm fabric, love that too! My only complaint would be the shape/size. It runs larger in the chest/waist and not so much in the hips. I would prefer more room in the hips.

Upgraded to a large in this from a medium in the Heavenly jacket for more room in the shoulders. This is more bell shaped than A-line, which isn't as flattering. I wish it had a collar or hood cinch to keep out the wind now that I'm wearing a larger size. It's still a very nice coat, and the cuffs and hood lining are perfection. The only other difference I noticed between this and the Heavenly is this has storm flaps over the pocket.

Great for "coolish" days when there's a bit of chill in the air. Not the coat for blizards! The length is great for keeping the cold off your legs. And I love the cozy pockets an faux fur hood lining.

Nice jacket. Love the gold lining. Not too bulky. I like the mid length. Covers the bottom but not too long.The only down side is the sizing. I usually order a large so I have room for sweaters, etc, This jacket runs small.

I love the coat, it's very comfy, but it took for ever to ship and the shipping was very long as well.

I love the fabric, gives a stylish edge. I also love the cozy hood and collar, feels nice against the skin oppose to usual synthetic fabrics which dont have the feel you want rubbing on you in the cold. I love the comfort cuffs although the gaitor seems short and the thumbhole pulls on my thumb. I ordered a size small. The handpockets are a bit low on the body as well. I wish the arms had better range of movement but overall a great jacket!

Beautiful color! This coat is somewhat fitted around the mid-section. Gives a flattering look but can be snug.

I like the color of this jacket and the length. The chest area seems to fit pretty snug for me, and I am not very big in that area. If you have a larger chest, I don't think it would fit you well at all.

Great quality winter jacket, very warm, lightweight, stylish, and overall well made. I love thay the sleeves have the thumb loops to ensure they don't ride up, and I love that the sleeves are actually long enough. My only constructive feedback would be to add shoulder width to the sizing chart. I realize that my build as a woman is more on the athletic end and my shoulder width is much greater than average (my left to right acromion tip is 17.25"), so I am in a minority of customers. I have resorted to buying men's outerwear in the past in order to fit my shoulders and have the sleeves be long enough. This Joy Peak jacket gets extra points in my book for its longer sleeve length, and the shoulder width isn't so tight that I can't move in it. I won't be doing yoga in a winter coat anyway, so it's a very minor issue. But had Columbia provided shoulder width in the size chart, I probably would have sized up just for that, or bought a men's. But overall, very awesome jacket. Most women will have no issues with the shoulders being tight. The chest, waist, and hip measurements are right on, fits great in all those areas. The style is great, by the way, very flattering. My husband's first comment was, "You look like Mary Poppins," meaning very feminine, sophisticated, and tidy.

I bought this coat to replace another Columbia coat that was 6 years old as the zipper broke. Looking for something warmer. This coat is definitely warmer as it will be used for Las Vegas winters. Seems to be great in mid 40's. Coat is longer length that I like but the sizing does feel a little smaller than usual. I am 5'3, 134 lbs and purchased a Medium. Coat feels tight if I have a bulky sweater underneath but feels fine if I am wearing a regular shirt. You may need to size up if you are planning on wearing alot of heavy sweaters underneath. I would purchase this again as this coat is warm and looks nice. I only gave it 4 stars due to the sizing being a little snug and the coat having a few loose strings that I had to cut off with scissors.

Flattering fit. Ordered the small and it was too big. XS fits well but not with bulky sweaters. Have an older long Columbia omniheat and it's a small and the it is lighter and fits better. Pretty color.

I really like the color and length of the jacket. I was disappointed with the fit of the jacket in the chest area. I bought an XL and that is my normal size for a jacket but when I tried this jacket on it was on the snug side, only in the chest area. Everywhere else the jacket fit perfect.

I really love the fit, length, warmth and features of this jacket. The hood and pockets are so soft inside. This jacket is great fitting and not boxy. I am 5'3'', 135 lbs. an purchased a medium. It has a nice feminine (not boxy) fit and is roomy enough for a sweater underneath. The only reason I gave this 4 starts instead of 5, is that I wish the lining wasn't sticky on the skin. It goes away when you warm up but during the clammy skin midstage, I feel it sticking to my arms a little. Long sleeves would completely alleviate this issue. It really is a great jacket and worth the purchase!

Beautiful jacket but evidently I purchased the wrong size- runs small so size up. Return process is wonky because there are no exchanges. Must return the product and repurchase. Not convenient.

Jacket is nice. Size fits but I do not care for the gold lined interior. I like the silver one better.

Love Columbia winter gear. This coat fits the bill with the thumb holes, omni heat and zippered pockets. Gave 4 stars due to the color selection - matte black would have been preferred but will keep coat because of overall Columbia reputation & prior experience with the brand. Would be great if winter coat manufacturers made shoulder/arm areas roomier to accommodate bulky layers in colder climates.
