I purchased it because I anticipate a much colder winter than last year (already had more snow than all of last winter). I haven't experienced extreme cold...yet, but so far in Washington D.C. area temps (lowest in the 30s as of this review), it's kept me very warm. I also keep getting complements on how good it looks. Very well-done Columbia!!!

Its very comfortable, most definitely keeps you warm.

Very warm coat, I ride a bike in about 20-45 degree F weather and am sweating if I wear a sweater underneath. I can go with just a shirt in this jacket and be warm. 6' 185lb, good fit. Don't know how durable it is though, kind of worried if I fell off my bike or got near sharp things it might rip.

Very Warm, comfortable and quality coat. Probably has too many pockets and little stiff out of the box, but overall great coat to keep my bf warm through the Midwest winter.

Good fit, medium puffiness, very warm, cool and stylish, 8 deep pockets. Had for one week, wondering how rugged it will be and if it'll hold up on my bicycle commutes to work. So far worth the price

Received this beautiful jacket and cannot wait to wear it. It's so well put together, so many big pockets where you need them with the hood easily detached, if so desired. So satisfied, and have to admit this is my second order of this jacket. My last one kept me warm, dry and so comfortable for three years and still in great shape. Just wanted another one.

Seems to run large. I wear an XLT/XXL in most brands and this XL is plenty large enough. This jacket is very warm, comfortable, and I love the features. The removable hood and removable fur are a very nice touch. It is a heavy jacket so may not be great for traveling, but for anything at home or around town it's been great.

This jacket is warm enough for Midwest winters. I like its length, just below the hips. I am a tallish female and the men's jacket is great for a little extra sleeve length.
