Bought this pants for my spring break to Fairbanks. The quality and color are great but the waist is a bit too big for me. I usually wear median (8 or 10), but I'm kinda chubby at the waist and butt area so I ordered a large (I also plan to add another layer to keep me warm). The length of the pant is okay but the waist is too loose, but luckily it's adjustable and tucking the top in the pant also helps.

Fit is good, wish they had in a short as they were a bit too long for me. Returning due to length & shipping got delayed so these came after i already bought another pair (would've preferred to keep these, but the other pair was non refundable, so i wish shipping didnt get messed up here!)

I have only tried them on but they are too snug in the thigh area and I am almost always a Medium. I am 5 ft 145 lbs for reference. Definitely size up! I had to send them back so no real idea how they do outside yet but loved the color of the dark coral and the way the looked on me so I am re ordering a size up.

This is based on trying these on at home only. I normally wear US size L in most brands (including a Columbia ski jacket) but I bought XL as many reviews and the company itself say these pants run small. Turns out they are very loose around my waist and stomach - I can probably tighten them at least 3-4 cm with a bit of loose material/bulge in the belly. They are quite more fitted in my thighs (but not tight) which are admittedly solidly built/naturally insulated ;). For reference, waist: 35in/90 cm; hips: 44 in/112 cm and 25.5 in/65 cm in widest thigh circumference. At first, I wanted to exchange them but given I will need some base layers and the relative good fit in my thighs, I think I will keep them as thankfully they have handy velcro straps to adjust the waist. If you have more proportionate thighs to waist/stomach you may want to actually buy your regular size though. They are very loose in the calves, with a flared/almost bell bottoms appearance to accomodate the boots, similar to the photo. They felt incredibly warm when I had them on just for a few minutes so the omni heat technology seems to be working well.

These snow pants are high quality. I was a little disappointed that the waistband wasn't as adjustable as I had hoped and they are long but the snaps are high quality and overall they are very nice snow pants

I love these pants, very warm. I just wish the sizing was more true to size. I would normally wear a large but they fit more like a small on me. Couldn't even get them buttoned. I didn't have time to return so I just wore them unbuttoned.

I haven't tried these outside yet, but as for fit, they definitely run big. After trying an XL of some other kind of Columbia snow pants in an outlet store (not sure of the specific model) that ran so small I couldn't button them, I first ordered a 2X in Plus Size to make sure they were big enough. They were so big they wouldn't stay up. I exchanged for an XXL, and even these are a bit big and baggy in the butt/legs. I probably could have gotten away with an XL, but I'd rather have extra room for a base layer underneath than risk being too small, so I will keep these. I got the geranium color, and they are so bright and pretty. They are also easy to move around in, so I think these will be good for hiking and ski/snow activities, which is what I got them for.

Had high hopes for these, purchased for an upcoming trip. Unfortunately, while the pants look great, they are tighter than expected in the thighs. A size up would be too loose in the waist since the velcro adjustment only reduces about an inch on both sides.

The bottoms are far too wide even for a ski pant. I hated walking in them. I've never needed that much leg width for a ski boot. They look ridiculous.

These pants have a lovely flexible material which I love compared to the Bugaboo pants, which have a rough stiffer material. However, they are somewhat short and very bell bottomed. They fit true to size, if not somewhat big, but they have a velcro tab that customizes the waist.

I sized up by recommendation on site. Even though my Columbia ski jacket is a large, these pants are way too big for me @ 5'3 155#. Returning for a different size/style.

Not that waterproof, extremely thin fabric that can tear easily especially when exposed to ski and boots. It feels like pants are made from comforter rather than from outdoor fabric. Size is also huge. I have several different ski pants and this medium size feels like large. Can't say, soft to the touch but this is not what I'm looking in snow pants.

They are way too very flared for my taste. I looked hilarious since I'm short too. I typically wear size 8 pants (size 10 hiking pants in Columbia, I like loose pants for hiking). The large fit me with some space to wear pants underneath and the waist adjustment worked well, it felt like they were a little too big. I tried on a medium and it fit, but was snug around my hips with pants underneath. If there was a 1/2" more space around my hips/thighs area I would be much happier with the medium. Didn't work for me.

Arrived late after I had left for my skiing trip. Will be returning. Have not open the package. Do not need it now
