This is the bigger end of the size that I normally wear. I LOVE Frye boots usually (I have 3 pairs, two of which I've fixed at least twice when the heels were worn out), but these are too stiff, and a size 8 medium felt like a 7 1/2 narrow. It would take way too long to break these in to even see if maybe they'd soften enough so that my toes wouldn't feel squeezed. I'll be sending these back, but I don't think I'll order in a different size.

I love the look and love this brand. Tried both 9 and 9.5 and they were both much too narrow. Sadly I returned them.

Perfect heel height, classic timeless look.

Very narrow and no ability to move.

Fit was my normal size 7.5B. Perfect heel height and feels very stable on due to the block heel. The ankle is slightly tight but you could just leave the zipper down a few notches if that's a problem. They feel a little stiff right now, but I know that they will become more supple as they are worn. My arch is a tiny bit off and there is no real arch support but they are not uncomfortable. I am wearing them with a fairly thin ankle sock from Happy Socks

Frye quality shoes that will last you a lifetime. Toe box is super narrow. They are in-between utilitarian and casual dressy. Feel a full size smaller. Normally am a 7.5 in Frye. Ordered size 8 and these were uncomfortable with thicker socks, and tight with regular crew socks. No way I could use an insole. Prob will return.
