I've only had these a few days now, but they are exactly what I needed. Living in the PNW and full-time cycle commuting means I need to be ready for all weather, but I don't always want to have to do a full change of clothes when I get to work. Riding today in heavy rains, the Omni-Shield doesn't do enough to truly keep my dry (I knew it wouldn't. It's just repellant, not waterproof.), but I did stay warm (50F and raining hard). The best part is that, while my pants were wet when I reached the office they dried very quick. Much quicker than I expected out of a double-layer lined pant!

Fits true. I am a 31/30 and purchased the 32 short and it fits perfectly. It's technically fall, but it's still warm where I'm at, so I haven't had a chance to wear them out. They definitely feel very warm when I tried them on. I like them so much, I bought two just in case they sell out when early winter arrives.

In comparison to the Mountain Hardwear Yumalino pants which are somewhat similar and also from Columbia family brand, these are slimmer fit and have zippered pockets and zippered leg cuffs. However, the pockets are smallish - hard to fit plus size phone, and lining is not as warm as the MH pants. So depends on your preference what matters more. Greatly appreciate that these are available in different inseam lengths.

I've purchased these pants a year ago and they are my favorite cold weather pants. It would be 5 stars from me, however I'm rating 4 stars because Colombia only offers 2 color options. I suggest and wish there were more colors offered. For example, stone green, stone Grey, or something like the fossil color.

Great pants, but they don't keep me quiet as warm as I was hoping for.

Took these pants for a trip to Iceland which I am still currently on. They are EXTREMELY comfortable and fit so well. I don't think I've ever had a more comfortable pair of pants. They perform well over all with plenty of stretch and lovely zip pockets which help when you're on the move up in the mountains. I was a little disappointed to see that the water resistance is not really all that great and I found that even some mist and rain makes it's way in pretty easily. Leaving me with very wet pants in 45 degree weather. Not too fun. Other than that great pants.

Great pants, got for keeping warm in an ice rink. Work great. Comfortable. Downside is no 2nd rear pocket. Wouldn't be as big an issue if there were a phone pocket, but not one of those either. Lack of pockets is what lowered the rating. Well, and the fit in the crotch and gips. Kind of feel like I have MC Hammer pants on sometimes. Lower legs are snug; I leave them unzipped.

I like these pants. In addition to my previous review (won't let me update or edit), these are really comfortable. Two things I don't like are no 2nd rear pocket (or thigh pocket for phone in lieu of rear pocket), and a really long crotch. At times I feel like I am wearing M.C. Hammer pants.

These pants are a nice fabric, with a light lining. Not terribly warm, but god for cool temps (not cold), or a pretty active activity. I ended up ordering one size larger than usual. The waist was just a bit snug, but they were at least two inches too short, and I had them unzipped. The larger size fits OK; slightly large in the waist, but the length is now good. The calf area is still a bit snug, and when you stand after sitting, you have to pull them down, or shake your leg to get them to go down. I'm sure the type of sock affecfs that as well.

I bought this pants to serve as a top layer when it gets cold outside. I was planning to wear warmer layers below it so I bought a pair that is one size bigger than what I normally wear. However there is no belt and while the pants are good, they constantly slip down even with other layers below it. If I knew they ran a little big, I would have bought a pair that was my actual waist size.

Columbia has some of the tightest fitting clothes I have ever tested and to a fault. I live in the Pacific Northwest and it rains a lot. My everyday cloths I like water resistant at least. Columbia's gear is great all but their pants, I'm not going for style, I need function. The pants are so tight around the ankles water runs down your pants right into your shoe. I literally have to wear gaiters everywhere I go, hiking, to the store, downtown, everywhere! Or I get rain in my shoes. They need to loosen up the fit, at least over the shoes, I don't want to have to where some crazy high top boots everywhere.

I bought two pairs of these in the long because I was so excited for a technical pant that fit my 6"5' legs and nope! These are shorter than the regular length Columbia pants I have in other styles.
