I purchased a 6.5 size at a store in town, Roxannes Birkinstock. I usually buy 6.5-7. One boot is a bit tighter than the other, front area. I'm assuming someone else loosened the other boot trying it on. I cannot wear thick socks with these boots. Barely a thin sock can be worn. Without socks fine but I'd rather wear socks. Im going to stretch out the tighter boot, otherwise I think by the end of the day my foot will feel uncomfortable or sore. The back of the boots feel fine, heel area. I'd recommend getting a size 7 if you want to wear socks. My feet are not narrow, so if your feet are a bit wide, you might have to stretch the boots out a bit in the front. I do love my boots, and that they don't make a sound while walking on tile. Not a big deal if they did but do like. I'm most likely buying the brown color in a 6.5

I ordered these booties last minute, knowing I had a trip to Europe coming up and that I'd need to be able to break them in beforehand. They did not arrive when expected, but Teva's customer care went above and beyond to make that right. I saw in the reviews that some folks said to order a half size up and I had not done that, so I was a bit worried, but other reviews said that they will stretch, they are leather. Thank goodness, they fit perfectly and were less tight after only two days of use. I've been wearing them daily for about a week and I've managed to walk three miles in them with no issue, so I'm ready to take these to the cobblestoned streets of Europe after one more week of breaking them in. Other reviews said they might not be as water proof as mentioned, but I think folks are confusing their own foot humidity with a leak that is not happening (feet will sweat, even when it rains). I will likely be buying these in another color and I highly recommend. If you know your shoe size, no need to size up. These absolutely will stretch to fit your feed within a few days of continuous use. These fit true to size and I've gotten many compliments on them. You can tell they are very high-quality booties.

Beautiful and comfortable boots. I wanted everyday boots that could be worn inside or out, with a heel, and these were perfect. The heal is not too high and it is sturdy enough to be comfortable but safe. The height does not press your ankle or leg and is short enough to wear with skinny jeans. Comfortable right out if the box. Expensive but they are well made and will last a long time.

I love booties but have intermittent pain in my heel area after a long day so I have to be careful about shoe choices. I bought a brown pair last year--they were great--comfortable, supportive, easy on and off, look great with jeans, and my heel pain stayed minimal so I treated myself to a black pair this year. Very happy with this purchase!

I bought these before a couple of travel trips, and they were perfect for both. They did not need any time to be broken in, comfortable right from the start! I walked for hours each day with no problems and felt stylish at same time: Finland, Estonia, Germany and Spain!
