I was hesitant to order these shoes based on some of the other reviews. I did not have any of the mentioned issues. They have a good rubber sole and are non-skid in snow and ice which is what I needed. I did not have any fit issues and ordered my usual size. The leather is waterproof and keeps my feet dry. The height of the boot is comfortable and they are easy to get on an off, although the first few times took some getting used to how to hold the boot and my foot to slide them in.

Super comfortable spent all day in them no problem! Have them in black also added feature is the water proofing.

These boots are beautiful and they fit nicely. I bought two to compare colors and ended up keeping the taupe suede ones. I found the suede to be a little softer and to have more give to them then the smooth leather ones, which were a little stiff at the ankle. I'm sure that would get comfier over time, but I was just also partial to the lighter color. Love the grey insert on the side and the soles feel very sturdy and secure. Nice to have dressier looking option for when it rains.

Love Sorel. Ordered my normal size, but they really flip in the heels. I don’t think I’ll be able to do a lot of walking in these, even with thicker socks, which is what I’m ordering for. I’m going to order a 1/2 size down and try that. Super cute and would be perfect if I can get the fit down.

Loved the boot but a 9 was too big for me and that's what I usually wear.

Great shoe. Big Sorel fan. I have wide foot and bad feet --- and the show felt great, just too big in the length. I am an 8 1/2 or 9 in Sorel depending on style. I'm going to try this in smaller size or try a different Chelsea type boot from Sorel.

It fit fine, but should have listened to the other reviews, the boot is super stiff around the ankle, am returning it.

I bought these to replace a pair of Sorel Chelsea style boots that I wore for multiple years that were just looking rough & the soles were falling apart. I loved those so much I thought buying a second pair would be worth it. They felt great when I put them on but by the end of the first day wearing them my feet really ached. The right shoe footbed has a bump in the heel that causes pain after about an hour (I’m a teacher so I’m on my feet for at least 6 hours during the work day). The height of the ankle is also taller than my old pair and has rubbed a raw patch on the back of both my legs. I wish I had discovered these issues before I weather treated them. I’ve actually tried them 2 more times thinking I just need to break them in. Hopefully they will break in soon so I can actually wear these without pain.

I have worn Sorels since 2003. I have always worn size 9 and found them to universally fit well on my average width feet. These were the narrowest pair of Sorels I have ever tried. So narrow that it felt like my feet were hanging over the sides of the soles. The boots were also extremely long. Had they been a reasonable width, I would have sized down a full size. If you have narrow feet, these are for you.

Super cute, and they fit well, but the top of the boot where it will hit my ankle is sharp/painful. Even just walking about my living room for 5 minutes, I could tell I’d end up with a cut on my shin and calf if I wore anything other than tights/pants tucked into the boots.

These boots were lower than the others I ordered. They come slightly above the ankle. They were too wide and not very comfortable.

I love these boots. Easy to slip on. I ordered an 8 medium which is what I normally wear and there is a lot of room. They fit a bit sloppy but I wear them with thick socks and added an insole with more arch support. Looks cute with boot cut jeans.

Top quality waterproof leather and SO comfortable! These Chelsea style boots are truly easy care. I’ve had them over a year now, and leather wears nicely and looks great over time. I have short legs, and I feel that this brand looks a little better on me than some of the taller ones.

These boots walked all over Paris in October and could not have been a more perfect boot.

Incredibly comfy but they are definitely it red, they are more of a deep burnt orange.
