The fit is just about perfect. I did feel a bit of give in the heel but not a lot. For some reason these days shoes are way too big in the heel area. When you find one that is better it seems like a big deal. So anyway a little give wasn't too bad. They were easy to wear without breaking them in. I like that brown color is somewhat rustic looking. They could be a favorite pair you have had forever. They feel warm and they are supposed to be weather proofed so that is a big plus. As far as the style. They would have looked better if they went higher on the ankle like the current trend with Chelsea boots. These do not and so it seems that they are missing the mark a little bit. Not enough to be a deal breaker for me. I like them and I am keeping them. I give 4 stars for the tiny movement in the heel and the "not quite hitting it" on the fashionability.

beautiful boots - I was so sad they did not fit! they were too big - tried with thick socks and one foot fit perfect, the other sloppy. I did order 1/2 size up also per comments and to wear winter socks but just didnt work for me - very sad!

Took me awhile to decide if I should keep these, they are narrow in the toe box but as the leather broke in/softened, they stretched enough to be comfortable. Good for a couple hours but I'm all about comfort, I wouldn't wear these if I'm going to be on my feet all day. For reference I almost exclusively wear my Birkenstocks, even through the winter in Wisconsin as long as it's dry but needed something for with dressier clothes in the winter (other than my Merrell hiking boots which I also love) and can't tolerate any heel when I'm pregnant. They're super cute on, love the easy on and off, they're overall a great shoe, better for a more narrow foot.

These are very comfortable and look good. I didn’t love how the top of the shoe pushed in at my ankles just a little bit. I wanted the top of the boot to be more open. I ended up getting Dansko boots because I liked the look and color better. But these Sorels were more comfortable.

These are cute, functional, and probably comfortable on a normal width food. I have narrow feet and even with thicker socks my heel was slipping all over the place in these. I went with a Josef Seibel bootie instead. I’m appreciate Zappos return policy when trying to find shoes for my long narrow feet.

These are a little loose with thin socks, but very good with a thicker sock. Love the style.

These boots are what I needed, as in waterproof and available overnight. I would not call them particularly fashionable. Also for a lot of walking, they’re pretty heavy. Mainly expect to break them in - the boot’s back of the heel area is very firm so I added some protection to my flesh!

Another Sorel boot that I wear has a less rounded toe box, feeling smaller. So my first thought was that this boot is too large. It is fine though, especially since I put in a support insole with good arches. The Sorel insoles are flat. The leather is good looking and my other waterproof Sorels are great in rain so I am sure these will be too. Looking forward to traveling with them.

These definitely slip on the back of my heel. Thicker socks help. Great style though, and overall very comfy!

I am still breaking in these boots but I do like them. I had ordered a size 7 and had to return it (I was surprised how large the 7 was) and got the 6.5 size. They fit well but need to be broken in more. Also, another reviewer noted that the front of the boot rubs at the shin unless you tuck in pants or leggings. This is totally true but hopefully it's nothing that a little moleskin can't help.

Wish they worked. Far too narrow for my feet, which is typically never an issue. The boots sole & leather also felt very stiff, which I know would soften up, but it was clear they wouldn’t soften width wise to make the shoes more comfortable for me.

Too big but love the quality and style. Returned for a different size (had to get a different color too). These are a bit roomier than my last pair of sorels!

These shoes are very cute and felt well cushioned. I really wanted to keep them but they were a bit narrow for me. I'm normally a medium width. Wish they would have worked as they are comfortable otherwise!

The quality of this boot seems really good. I really wanted to like them, but the seam around the ankle area of the front is a no for me.

I bought these boots to wear to work in Denver winters. They've got great traction and they have been nicely waterproof so far through snow, melty muck, sloshy water, snow melt stuff, and whatever else our winters throw at them. They are comfortable with moderate arch and heel support, but they aren't lined. If you plan on wearing them in cold weather, order a half to full size up, depending on the thickness of socks you like, to keep warm. I also added an arch/heel support so I can wear them and walk in them all day. They're nice boots and I'm glad I bought them.
