I a about to return these shoes which I bought in a size 10.5 as they are too small. Also, the tongue creates a rubbing against the toes. Very disappointed as I thought that they would be great for speed walking. If you order, be sure to order a half size bigger and on ly if you don't have any foot/toe issues.

I love Sorel and was so excited to see a new velcro pair of Kinetic's as I love my others. Sadly, these shoes seem to have a quality control issue which I've not experienced with Sorel before. I tried on the left shoe first and loved it. Put the right shoe on to make sure and I could barely get the velcro to secure.
I took measurements to make sure it was the shoe not because one of my feet has a higher arch or something. Nope, it's the shoes. There is a .5 inch difference between the two straps.
Left Shoe - 7.75 in & 4.5 in
Right Shoe - 7.5 in & 4.25 in

I want to start by saying that you have the coolest shoes and that's why I own 5 pair, 6 including my booties. I've had issues with every pair except for the booties and I haven't written reviews but now as I receive my fifth pair I have to start writing reviews on all of them.
They are just too small. Returns according to your policy are not easy and so I'm just trying to sell them and taking the loss.
This is my 3rd of 5 reviews because I'm done giving yall passes. Again, coolest shoes, coolest styles, just frustrated.

I really like the brand, the look and it fits well except the strap across the top is not adjustable. So it does not fit me.
Very disappointed in that design blunder.
I need to return the sneakers.

The design is nice but I returned them because the right shoe had a problem and the buckle was hurting my foot. I have narrow feet and normally don't have this type of issues. I'm waiting for my refund.

I really loved the look of these shoes when they arrived -- but found there was really not enough strap to get over my instep and it just... wouldn't... stretch on the left foot instep. Sadly, had to return what was going to be my new city sneaker.

This is a comfortable sole shoe, but this shoe rubs up against my Achilles and tight around my ankle. The rubbing causes the discomfort.

When I put on these shoes they made my feet look huge. The strapping system was so tight it hurt the top of my foot and I just couldn't get comfortable in them so I returned them.

I was so excited to receive these shoes, however became extremely disappointed when I opened the box! The shoes were WAY bigger than a woman's size 8 shoe for the US, and are even labeled as a women's size 8. I am having to return these and can't even exchange them for another pair since the sizing is way off and I have no idea what size to buy. Buyer beware!

The velcro strap does not always stay closed. I think the strap is a bit too short. I love all my other Sorel shoes but this pair, not so much.

I returned these. I have narrow feet and these were pretty wide. I was hoping the strap would tighten them but it didnt.

Worn these for only 4 hours and the back of my heels are raw. The fabric is stiff. The soles& footbed are amazing! The quality is less then glue on it he fabric and soles.

The straps were ridiculously short with no stretch and kept popping open. I ended up returning these. These also have the very long chunky sole that's trendy rn. If your feet are on the larger side they'd probably look even bigger in these.

These shoes weren't as comfortable as they look. The toe box is very pointed.
Of course, I cannot send them back, as I walked in them. And then finding out, how uncomfortable they are. For the price, they are not worth it.

The base of the shoe is huge! Looks like a giant man shoe. The top is so small it won't buckle. Very disappointed.

They'd be great for someone who wears a Womens size 5-6. For someone who wears a 9-10 they look absolutely, completely ridiculous. The thing on the back adds 2 inches to your foot length and anyone that wears a size 9-10 does not want their foot to look even longer! Extremely poor design, not customary or typical for Sorel

I soooooooo wanted to love these. Truly my first disappointment in Sorel sizing. Unfortunately, the strap that makes the style of these shoes so unique is NOT appropriately proportioned for the size of the shoe! I am ALWAYS a size 12. Have never had an issue with any other style of Sorel footwear—boots, sandals, etc. But these? There was NO WAY to have my foot in the shoe and secure the strap! Not even CLOSE! I had read similar reviews with this issue, but had hopes that the manufacturer might have adjusted the strap length? NOPE. What a bummer! Had to return them.
