This comfortable jacket is a bit long for a 5'3" female. However, the zipper doesn't catch the lining, the fur trim is removable from the hood and it provides insulation for cool days and nights.

Love this coat! Got this for my 11 year old. Size medium for 5'2 120lbs and it fits great! Wish it had buttons instead of Velcro but overall we love it!

I bought this coat to replace an older version of the same coat, which was a size medium. When I received this coat it was much larger than the older version.

I am so happy with my new Columbia winter coat! It is exactly what I have been looking for. Warmth and fashionable!

Love the coat. The sleeves were a tad long. Very warm!!!

Extremely warm, lightweight, not bulky. Fits comfortably without being too snug. The only drawback is the sleeves are too long for my petite arms.

This is a good coat for average winter weather. Not heavy enough for subzero. Lacks some features such as knit interior sleeve wind blocks and bottom zip capability. Looks stylish. Hand pockets are placed for style not function with flap facing forward.

I was really excited to get this jacket. I ordered a large and medium so I could try on both sizes (I'm 5'1", 140 lbs). I tried on the medium and realized that it ran a bit bigger than most mediums. The sleeves went way over my hands. I want to order the small but I'm afraid it won't fit right either. Really nice jacket otherwise great quality and pretty lightweight for a winter jacket.

Coat is warm and has lots of pockets. I don't like that the main pockets don't zipper closed. I ordered a size larger for layering.

I waited to review after wearing for Holiday Lights Parade at 10 degrees. Kept cold wind at bay. It seems like Columbia "cheaped out" on a few features usually known to this brand, so my rating falls one star short of five for these reasons: sleeves could use more insulation; missing inside zippered pocket of some kind; no clips to manage strings for hood and cinching; no two-way zipper at bottom. Otherwise, I think the jacket will serve well for a northern winter.

This coat is very warm. Wish that the cuffs had a knit cuff as the current design is too loose and slips down over my hand. Also would be better if the tie inside the coat to cinch the waste had toggles to tighten as the current design you have tie the strings in a knot.

I wore this coat for the first time today, and I love it! It kept me warm in 20 weather. The only downside is that the sleeves are too long for me.

I was in search of an insulated winter coat that was not a typical puffer as I wanted something that was made of a material that's not so delicate, and came across this Columbia coat. The website suggested sizing up so I had ordered a large figuring that I'd have extra room to layer a sweater or hoodie underneath it, and I found it to fit pretty true to size. I'm typically in between a medium and large and the coat fits slightly big on me. The sleeves are a little long which I have seen others say in their reviews, but it's not a huge issue. The metallic reflective like lining does retain heat and it feels like it will be plenty warm for the winter and early spring months. If you're usually stuck in between sizes I'd recommend sizing up, but otherwise I think the coat would fit true to size and not run small as the website suggests.

I love the idea of it, the look, the warmth, but was disappointed when the zipper split the first time I wore it. The large was enormous so I went with a medium (my regular size) which was a bit more fitted but not tight. When I sat down in it, the zipper split.

I love this coat! I bought it not knowing that my mom and sister had the same one. I live in Minnesota and it definitely protects against the cold and wind. It does run slightly big on me as a 5'4, 130lb woman. I am typically a size small in Columbia wear (which is what I ordered) and I felt like it was a baggy compared to other items. It is, however, roomy enough to fit a sweatshirt under if needed which is a plus, as I ordered a new coat to layer if needed. This coat is extremely warm though and I don't think I'll be desiring layers as much as I have in the past. I do like the length of the coat as well.

I love this jacket so far. The hood and tall neck is my favorite part. I haven't worn it in freezing weather yet, but it's done the job. It does fit a bit snug under my underarms, but besides that, it fits just right everywhere else. I'm 5'2, around 161lbs, and curvy. I had to downsize as the Large was way too big.

Love it! Although a little snug in the shoulder area, I'm 5'4, 128 lbs.

I ordered a size up due to others comments but it's a bit big now. I should have stuck with my usual medium size. The jacket itself is really warm the pockets take a bit getting use to and they have snaps that can be a pain to open.

Love the coat, it is very warm and stylish, the only issue which made me choose 4 stars instead of 5 is that the arms are super long. I do have shorter arms but these are long way past my whole hand.

I could have actually gotten a large in this coat. It runs true to size, but I was skeptical because I'm 6'2" 193lbs.

Love the jacketvery warm. Only downside is that I wished that the waist adjuster were toggle buttons

I love this coat in almost all ways. The only con and for some reason this really bothers me, is that the pockets on the outside snap and don't zip.
